Market force

Ok, so I've read the discussions about Market Force paying late. It's not the 20th, and so I am not that worried. However, I can't see my past shops at all. They're also not in paid shops. Has anyone had this happen? I'm panicking a little.

Did you remember to change the year back to 2022?
This happened to me and I too was concerned, so I emailed the company and received this reply:

"Completed shops only stay on your Assignment/Receipt Status page until processed for payment. When we are processing shops for payment each month, they will start to disappear from your Assignment/Receipt Status page. Then after payment is issued, you can see those shops again by going to your Payment History."

I did receive payment on time.
I've worked for them for 20 years and have never not been paid so I think you can relax.

Agreed, they are very reliable with payment.
Ok, I'm hoping it is just "processing." Which is probably about right if they pay on the 20th. I have been doing work with them for about five years, but I don't do much for them. I just got nervous because I know they've had some payment issues lately. I'll keep my eyes out this week and keep you guys posted!
Good question and appreciate the replies. My 1st shop (ever) was Dec 18th 22 with MarketForce and today is the first day I don't see it listed with my other completed shops in the "My Shops" section. This shop I had completed on 12/18/22. It doesn't show up in payment history, and not in my account. On payment history - yes, it populates to 2023 - I can't enter 2022 despite trying - perhaps that is a browser thing. Weird part is that the shop I did 4 days later - 12/22/22 - still shows up in the completed "my shops" section.

Since you completed your first shop in December, you won't be paid until January and in pay history the shops show up in the month paid, not the month completed. So you won't have any shops listed in 2022. That's why you can't pull up 2022.
You can see the completed shop if you click on "My shops" and go to the link at top to view them. It will list them and show "approved," or dreaded "invalid."

This is likely happening as we prepared our file early this month to make sure we didn't run into a similar issue from December. Payroll will process this week as normal and you should see everything you expect shortly.
Hasn't January in the past been the month where they tend to have problems and be late? I mean nothing like December's recent horror show but I seem to remember them being some days behind in previous Januarys.
They disappear about payment time. I've started keeping my "acceptance" emails until I get paid for those "dark side of the moon" days. I've worked with this company for decades and last month was the only time there was a problem with payment. The shops "disappearing" is monthly. Hope this helps.
Well, it says check date 1/19 for DD, and it didn't post to my account. However, I'm feeling much more confident now that I can see it. I see that sherri responded which is making me feel better. Thank you smiling smiley
I have not received payment for my December shops, when I emailed the Help Desk I was told that they are having issues with Direct Deposits. They say they will be paying by cheque for December Shops. This may only apply to Canadian Shoppers. So it's our turn to have issues. We did not have the issue in December that American Shoppers had.

I got paid directly into my bank account on January 20th.

As I said this may only be an issue for Canadian Shoppers.

Yes @Lady Marius - that is correct. Sadly Canadian shoppers were impacted in January and accounting just alerted the operations team late Tuesday...needless to say...I'm very UN-happy about that. We're trying to get to the bottom of it, but in the meantime, yes, we are sending checks to just the Canadian shoppers.
My experience is that they pay like clockwork - 20th of each month. Every single December they have a "problem" and pay late. This has happened the last few years. So just don't count on December coming in on time, and you should be fine! If memory serves, December is usually about 5 days late.

They're making me crazy...I just got an update from accounting that they got the ACH to go through...If any Canadian shoppers can confirm, that would be amazing...
I was just coming here to say my direct deposit hit my bank today. So it appears they did get it to work finally.
