Ipsos hoarders

Looks like the "ishopfirst" hoarders are at it again... betting 50% or more get dropped next week when the time limit runs out.

I've seen the hoarding, too, in my area. In January, poof, a whole bunch of gas stations disappeared. Last week, most of that bunch reappeared on the board. I normally pick up just a day or two's worth at a time -- ones I know that I can perform and finish, rather than try to schedule a whole month's worth at a time when there is no bonus.

I just saw the $1.50 bonus on certain gas station shops. This is ridiculous. I thought the $2.00 bonus on the fast food Chinese was the bottom of the barrel for the MSC, but no, a new low. Could this be a result of the hoarders and base pay grabbing individuals making it clear to the MSC that they can pay less? UGH!

There is never a consequence for these hoarders getting all these shops and then letting them go. Apparently the same goes for the Visa shops too. Last time they had a cool down period if you did not do the Visa shop by the deadline whether it was 8 or 24 hours, but I think they did away with that. They did enact a cool down period for Circle K shops though.

I lost a Circle K shop because of construction work, so I had to re-do the balance of the route once I was in the middle of it and it slowed me down enough that the Circle K dropped off and I had to wait 24 hours before I could attempt to claim it.

Ipsos should know that if someone picks up 30 retail oil shops and then there is one day left, there is an issue and the shopper won't be able to complete it. Perhaps they should limit people to a certain number and as they demonstrate that they finish shops correctly, that shopper can get the limit increased.

I have to let 4 of my gas station shops drop. I didn’t want to, but I got VERY sick. I rescheduled them once when I first got sick thinking that it was just going to be a day or two and I was going to be fine. I was wrong. I went out yesterday, I was still in pain, but I was up against a deadline and running out of days and times so I went out and I tried. I got two of the gas stations done and three other shops finished before I was in too much pain to continue. The only thing I managed to keep down all day was four tater tots and a plain quesadilla.

Today I did a little better, I was in a lot less pain but I still wasn't fully awake or alert. I got three shops done, and none of which were the gas station shops that are going to drop off my shop log tonight. But I was able to eat a little more I had an entire sandwich, two cups of coffee, a scrambled egg with an English muffin, and a handful of cherry tomatoes. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day and I can get those gas station shops back after they drop off.
