IPSOS surprised me today....

The base pay for a shop was high for work: pay ratio!
I expected a HE!! of a lot more effort for $25 than I had to actually put in. Was a nice surprise. There was a max 2 shops for this, wish I would have picked up another one.

OKAY, I'll bite...what client? (Give a hint)

My kids had to attend a craft workshop at a home improvement store.
@luckygirl0100 Did you give the kids a cut of that action?

I figured that one was an easy task with little to no work involved. I didn't have a child in that age range to do that shop.

I was there Saturday and heard the pretend work the kids were doing. I only saw 3 sets of families when I was walking the aisles. Was it crowded at your store.
@Rho* you reminded me of something I was thinking about in the car today. I haven't seen the Blue one in a while. I thought those were monthly.

It was packed. I had to guess at the # of kids as people were coming/ going.... over 30 kids easily. They whined for a minute about having to put down their electronics (we only allow on weekends so that time is 'precious' to them, lol) and then they had a blast making the pinball games.
The kit directions were a little advanced for the ages recommended. My 10yr old Boy Scout was able to complete, but needed my help once. I saw most other parents helping a lot.
@luckygirl0100 They have another round of these kids workshop jobs 4 Saturdays from now.
I've seen a bunch open for this Saturday (the 11th) as well. Likely varies by area.

Good to hear the pay ratio is nice. Although given the tight date limit and the requirement for kids, I don't think they can afford to turn away too many prospects by lowballing us.

Also, happy for the client. When I saw this listed I thought it was a great idea. If its popular that seems like a win/win for everyone.

I'll be meeting Mickey & Minnie on the Disney Dream in the Bahamas for that round! Then starts tournament season so we won't have a free Saturday for a few months... sad smiley
