Need to be more careful on my IPSOS shops

I had a route planned today, all my shops on an Excel spreadsheet. All the shops were IPSOS. When I got to my second shop, I noticed 3 of my IPSOS shops were missing from the IPSOS site. One I had just completed. From now on I check my shops on the IPSOS site before leaving the house and not depend on my Excel spreadsheet. Has anyone else had this happen with IPSOS?

Yep, drove 60 miles one way for two shops that had good bonuses on them. When I got there, one was gone, only one shop left on my shop log. Someone had gone in and done something with the shop and made it look like it had been completed. It was in my finished shop log with no input from me.

Because of this, I now double check my next scheduled stop is still in my shop log before I continue my route. I can't stop Ipsos from stealing scheduled work from me, but i can cut my losses when they do it, and change my route as necessary.

So when this happens, does the MSC even have the common courtesy to send an e-mail letting you know they've removed the shop? I would think that's the least they could do.
They cancelled a highly bonused gas station shop I had built a route around the day before it was due. This made the route unprofitable for me. It was 105 miles from me. That is the last shop I scheduled with IPSOS.
They send you an e-mail if you missed a shop, but not if they just remove it.
They canceled a high bonus gas shop for me on Monday. I assigned via PrestoMap and an hour later it was gone. Several hours later, it appeared again at a higher pay and I was able to grab it and complete it. The bad thing is, they don't even have the courtesy to send an email or app alert to advise they pulled the shop from my list of scheduled shops. My parents are shoppers as well and they have had this happen to them also.

Sometimes. Not always. When they do, They always blame it on the client. I'm positive, but have no proof, that it is usually an error on the part of a scheduler or their automated system posting shops that shouldn't have been posted.
I've had this happen before. I now will go in on the morning of the shop and put in my date on each report and save, so it goes into an "incomplete status". So far, this has worked. I drive many, many miles every day and to get ready to input a job, and it's gone is very upsetting.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

Thankfully I have never had this happen before... But I have done this a couple of times.. That way I won't have much to complete when I get home smiling smiley

I'm guessing they can still pull a shop even if it's in incomplete status.
I well understand, each person must consider their finances before deciding what is acceptable from an MSC. I agree with Helena, if Ipsos decides to pull the job, it will be pulled. The considerable decrease in the number of companies, an abundance of shoppers and the near elimination of narrative have contributed to Ipsos being in the "catbird's seat."

Can they???

I remember several years I had a shop schedule at burger shop.. About two days before the date of my shop I was on my way home from work (This was in the middle of the day) and I noticed that they were closed.. I took a picture of the sign.. As soon as I got home, I emailed my scheduler telling them that they were closed.. They replied back and said that they will look into it.. A couple of hours later, they email saying that it was closed and the shop was removed ..

I can assure you that using Shopmetrics they can. I'm not familiar with the scheduling side of Sassie.

I did not know that
Yes but you have a better chance of getting an email that they removed it.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me last week. I worked my spreadsheet, got home to debrief the 6 shops and 3 were gone. I went back on the site and was able to reclaim 2 of the 3. In my case, it was my fault as they were due on 3/20, not 3/21, as I had thought.

That's the key to doing big loops with them. It can be impossible to get all reports in by midnight, so starting reports and saving them to "Incomplete" status keeps them from falling off the Shop Log.

I will also schedule due dates as late as possible. I've had editors chide me for not turning in reports by the specified time after completion on a couple of occasions, but the shops are always accepted.

With the ability for shoppers to change dates once, it's easy to get around any daily scheduling limits. I've got a loop starting Thursday with 38 red+silver/red+white/orange+blue stops. I started booking them for the last day available, but eventually those filled up. I just snagged locations I wanted regardless of the last day available, and then went in and changed the dates to where I needed them to be.

For the red/blue conditional reveals I will input the phone and hours info in advance while I'm prepping for my trip. That makes it quick and easy to complete everything else on site. I usually complete reports for that program onsite, but sometimes scheduling doesn't allow for it.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
