Field Agent

Has anyone completed shops through the Field Agent app?
I have not heard of them, so I am wondering.

I check the App frequently...but, frequently, they are too cheap to bother with. When they are worth it I will do them and they pay usually in 2 days. I look at the photograph requirement and questions that must be answered. If it says something like take one or two photographs and answer four questions and is at $5 or $6 or more and I will be in the area or at that location, I will do it. Because those will take not even five minutes. And sometimes there are two or three of them to do in one store. But if I see the same payment for something that asks you to scan 30 shelf tags and/or take a ton of photographs, forget about it.
I saw things that were $3 and that's just not worth my while. Shame. How do they get people to do these?
I do Field Agent and Observa shops as "add-ons" when I am in the area for another reason. The pay is low, but the assignments are quick. They pay within a few days or hours.

You still do Observa? Ouch. Sorry.
Field agent starts with really low paying jobs but will occasionally bump them up. Like others have said, they're good for an extra little job, like if you are already at a warehouse store anyway. I would not try to plan a route - they sometimes will let you do two assignments in one store, but sometimes the app will freak out and the shops will disappear. I have gotten some gems on there, like taking one or two pics, answering 2 questions for $6.

Once the job is approved, you can cash out with a direct deposit to your checking account.
I miss the old client that Field Agent used to have.

I could make $150 on an early Sunday morning doing a route of their big box recycling audits and customer service checks, grab bagels and be home by noon. I also quickly made about $2K measuring counters and signage for that client. Bummer.
Oh man the recycling audits were pretty great. I forgot about those.

I think a lot of of miss some really great clients. I also miss well-paying shops. I've been lucky enough to be in some areas where someone was desperately needed, but one does not always get lucky. Gigwalk is about the same. Gigspot at least has some real jobs on there.
These are ok and I like that they pay quick. Some are quick and easy and some are ridiculous. Usually if I am going somewhere, I just check field agent and Gigwalk to see if they have any quick jobs I can do. Nothing to go out of my way for.
Oh yes. I found an old day planner I had from around 2008/2009 and worked in downtown Chicago. There were some great coffee, popcorn places, restaurants, and tons of bank shops I could easily walk to on my lunch break.

I uninstalled Gigwalk months back but got an email from them yesterday about some $7 shop. I wound up unsubscribing, they have never been worth my time to check so I figured I might as well stop getting their emails.

It's a shame they don't have more clients and better pay because the app is pretty good.

A lot of MSCs have a terrible interface and great shops. Some even have good pay.

How much better would something like Panda be on this app? A few yes or no questions and pictures taken IN APP. Done in no time. No log in, etc. Just 3 minutes of work.
I do! Simple shops and I get paid in a few hours. I've never had a shop rejected.

I thought I was doing the same thing and they found very creative ways to screw me over till I dumped them.
I have only been successful with 2 Eye Spy’s and been unsuccessful about 4 or 5 times. Not worth pursuing anymore for me.

They could use Shopmetrics for Panda. I'm not sure why they might put some things on Shopmetrics and other things on Sassie. Sassie is terrible on mobile phone.

Same here. Will never work for Observa again.
What happened with Observa? Was it the gas station project?

No, just in general. I don't recall them ever having a gas station shop. It was almost all stock checks at stores. They were incredibly rude and arrogant every time they contacted me and were very unhelpful in getting anything fixed or admitting when they were wrong. I swear their editors got paid extra for failing shops.
With Observa, I've found that since I've moved 125 miles from when I signed up, I still get e-mails with shops from my previous location. I've updated everything I can in the app. When I requested assistance, I was told not to worry about it, when I logged in the location feature would show any shops near me.

That means I'm not being notified of any new shops near me. It's also forcing me to log in even if there are no shops near me. No thanks.
No fee is high enough to deal with that nonsense.

I never had a problem finding shops one I turned my GPS on, but yeah their app is awful to.
