CURINOS HAS CHANGED PAYMENT MEHTODS ????

I got an email today. I copied and pasted everything here, including the crying emoji (?!) and mistakes. (ETA: the question marks in the subject were actually a crying emoji. Very strange.)

Curinos has moved to a new payment system . Please Do Not to worry if you are currently receiving Zelle or ACH payments we will still be sending those payments.

However, if you have elected to receive check payments we will need to get you updated to ACH or Zelle payments.

We have also updated the payments to only be processed once a month. We apologize for this change but the new team is much smaller since we have moved away from Informa's Shared Service department who previously handled all Curinos shopper payments. The new team is much smaller and only able to process payments on a monthly basis. This still keeps us within our 60 day timeline outlined in the shopper agreement. All shops from April 3rd-May 2nd will be paid between May 10th-15th. The new payment cycle will be all shops from the 1st of the month to the 2nd of the following month then paid out between the 10th-15th of that month.

We do apologize for this sudden change the Mystery Shop Department was advocating for at least Bi-Monthly payments but, we were told that was not possible.

If you were receiving payments via check please email Briana.Goldman@Curinos.com ASAP so she can help you enroll in ACH or Zelle payments.

So if they were already doing ACH and Zelle, after reading the email they sent you, I seem to get the idea that they meant they were changing the frequency and/or timeline of payments. Is that what you got out of it?? I don't see any new methods listed in their email, so that's why I say it must have to do with frequency/timeline of payments. At least that's what I got out of their somewhat rambling email!
It seemed to be about two things, one was that they would pay once per month starting now and the other issue was if you had been getting payments some other way than Zelle or ACH (for instance checks in the mail) you need to go into your account and choose ACH or Zelle as those are the only acceptable ways to get paid now.
I found the email confusing, too, and it was totally out of character for Briana to send such an email.

I agree with sandyf that it was about two things, the first being the new payment schedule. I am not too sure about the second thing. To me, there is a possibility that a yet-to-be-announcement payment method will be added to Zelle and ACH.
I went into my account and looked at every dropdown but did not find a section where I could choose or change my preference for sending payment. The email seems to say to just email the company. I will have to look at my past records to see how they paid me last time, pre pandemic.
I used to get checks from them, but I had to check my old log from last year to see how I was paid and it was Zelle, so somewhere along the line I switched payment. It's been a while since I've shopped with them. I don't remember how I switched, but I don't think it was online through their site..maybe when it used to be Prophet (I think they used to use Prophet)

I am on an ongoing project. The first time I got paid for that project, it went to the wrong Zelle account -- to the email linked to that project. I was surprised because I did not expect payment via Zelle. Everything is fine now.
I am still trying to get paid from February from them. I have asked so many times I am at my wits end.
