ISS dates greyed out?

Hello everyone,

I am a shopper on ISS and I’ve noticed in the last two days that when you try to request a shop, all of the dates are grayed out. Like, you can’t tap on any date. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a temporary glitch in the app? It’s happening on multiple shops there. It’s not even like they’re taking back-up shoppers because there’s no way to select a date because all of the dates are grayed out.

Hi MS007! If they use Sassie, it is a setting that helps block shoppers from applying due to rotation, ineligibility because of age requirements, etc. Could also be that they hit a monthly goal for that project so they set the due date into the past so no more shoppers can apply.

ISS is actually the platform used by dozens of MSCs. When a date is grayed out, the date is not available for the shopper to select. Often this is due to rotation requirements or because another shopper has accepted an interfering date. For instance, the date range is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A shopper selected Wednesday. If they do not permit shops on consecutive days, then both Tuesday and Thursday are not available and are grayed out. This is often not stated until you try to apply for a shop (and sometimes the only hint is that dates are grayed out).

Make sure the shops aren't for May. When you click on the calendar it will default to April. Change the month to May and see if that doesn't fix your problem.

I've also noticed I'm having problems with Intouch Insite shops on ISS. They appear, but when I click on them, it tells me the shop is not available. Intouch has told me they are listed and available for assignment and to contact them if the issue doesn't resolve itself. Now all the shops have apparently been filled.

Well, all those scenarios are true about the usual reasons why one cannot select a shop date and self-assign, etc. But, there is also a problem with SASSIE, right now, for another MSC. The problems has been identified as a glitch and sporadically preventing shoppers from selecting a date when they have none of those restrictions that apply. It has been discussed in another recent thread. Some of had to contact the scheduler to assign the shop for them. This may be happening in this case, too.

I've had that happen too where there is another shopper assigned to a date too close. I've had success emailing the scheduler and telling them what days I could do it and was often assigned the shop.
