I only had one shop last month and was paid. It was less than $50. I don't do much for them anymore, but I will continue shopping for them, when it benefits me.

Thanks for posting that, @kathygry. It'll be interesting to see if payments under $50 continue to be paid monthly through DD. Please keep us posted if you do any additional shops that total less than $50/month in the coming months.

I also got paid by direct deposit today. Normally I get paid on the 21st but since it fell on the weekend, I got paid today.

Was it for less than $50.00?

The contract as it reads now still covers them to not pay an amount less than $50.00, at any time they decide to do so. Who knows if they are paying a few here and there under the $50.00, to lure others back to take shops.

I will have more than $50 next month. Hopefully, others will chime in.

Whether they paid or not is not the issue. The issue is their written agreement says that they are not obligated to pay you unless they owe you more than $50. It means they can if they want to, but they don't have to. And I'm not going to sign that agreement, because when I do something for pay I expect to get paid for it.

Yes $47.50

I was paid through Direct Deposit for a shop done in May for less than $50 on June 15.

I am NOT contracted with MF, as they fired me 13 yrs. ago.

Folks, there is definitely a reason the company refuses to alter the contract verbiage. All can speculate as to why, but I can state most absolutely that no MSC would lose valuable contractors over such a situation UNLESS it were to their benefit.
