Alta360 Did Me Wrong Updated

I think "Accept" and "Confirm" were used interchangeably whereas they are two different steps.

It didn't matter if I accepted, confirmed or whatever. They removed the shop I accepted as well as the one i hadn't accepted yet.

I had just walked out of the store when I tried to pull them up on their website on my phone. They were both gone.

They were able to give me back the store I had just completed, and I filled in the report and submitted it. They are going to give me the other store next week at the bonused amount, but I had planned on doing it this past Saturday.

I'm not saying it matters here, but the language can be confusing. Both shops were assigned. In my experience, that means I am obligated to do them, and they should not be removed except in the most extreme circumstances (extreme weather, disaster, client request,) at least not without some further communication. The process of "accepting" them has been just a formality, similar to the "confirm" feature in Sassie. They do say shops not "accepted" can be removed, but that has never happened to me, and I would never assume I could get out of a shop commitment simply by not "accepting" it.
A few years ago I was doing shops for them and they were on a rotation. Rotation was every other quarter; however at the ending period of the rotation it was allowed that whatever shops were left were up for grabs to get them completed. Since I was in the beginning of a quarter I said I would go into another area which was 3 hours away and get a hotel (all at my expense with no mileage or extra pay) and do a bunch of shops there another regular person couldn’t do; again, because of rotation. After I had done about 15 I got a phone call that said they had pulled them out and couldn’t be started until after a certain date. The scheduler knew what I was doing and they encouraged me to go. I had to go home without getting any pay for my time. I lost hundreds on that trip.
