IntelliShop question/concern

Hello

I completed a supper shop for IntelliShop on Tuesday 7-11-23 after work (even though I was not felling good).. I came home, I enter the report on my computer, took an shower, and got my stuff ready for work the next day. I went to bed..

Got up Wed morning (7-12-23) and went to work.. I did not check my MS e-mail account While I was work, I checked my E-mail account (from my phone) and I noticed a email saying that they need an little more information.. Sure fine no problem.. But they needed it with in 24 hours.

The message was sent Tuesday night about an hour or so after I sent in in the report.. It usually takes two to three days for them to look at my report.

I rush home form work Wed afternoon, took a shower, ate supper and logged into my computer.. When I open my report, it said that the this evaluation has been submitted to Intellshop and is no longer available for editing. I still had about an hour and 30 minutes left before the 24 hours had passed.


But in the comments section it said that Please be sure to thoroughly address all requested updates, and resubmit your report within 24 hours. Failing to address all items in a timely manner may result in your report being slotted for exclusion. Thank you.


It also showed as competed..

It is now 10 PM and my report is still showing as competed but I still can not edit it and the editor has not reply.

How can I edit it, if still closed?

There have been times that they needed more information and I have been able to edit it with no problems.

ETA:. It is easier for me to do any reports on the computer and not my phone.


I would like to hear your thoughts?

Something similar happened to me with a different company. I screen shot the request for more information with the date & time and sent it with my side of the story to whomever sent the request and maybe also the scheduler.

Is it possible to answer the questions they have by email and let them cut and paste?

Yes it is. I just checked my email Thursday morning before work and nothing from the editor. I am getting ready to email the scheduler explaining what is happening.. I will also email the editor the information that they need..

Hopefully, they will be able to copy and paste the information that they into the report and they can send it off to the client.

ETA: I just e-mail the scheduler explaining what is happening.

I have also email the editor the information that they needed. I asked the editor, if they could please put the information that they needed from the email into the report since I could not access it.

So we will see what happens

I think intellishop might have editors in another time zone that edit in the middle of the night. I have had some reviewed at 11 pm after submitting at 9 pm. I've found them to be understanding, so hopefully you have a similar experience.
If the shop is showing as completed, it is likely the editor decided they didn't really need the extra information after all, and accepted it as is.
I am still at work on my luch break.

I received a email from the editor this morning saying they were no longer with the company. Which i find very odd.

They said to reach out to rhe scheduler.

I received a email from the scheduler saying that they were not sure what was going on but according to the notes they received, they could not read the receipt . This was never mentioned by the editor.


I told the scheduler fhat i was at work and i will get that them later this evening.

The receipt that the restaurant gave me was kinda fainted and you could not read it very well.

I mentioned that to the scheduler.

I hope my report is not rejected because their printer was messed up

Eta. The scheduler said to send in the receipt and they will keep it as completed till i send in the receipt.

I took a picture of the receipt inside the restaurant and it was very bight inside the restaurant.

Wow! No longer with the company? That's so strange! It's good they told you instead of you having to wait. I hope your report is accepted.

Sounds like they are working with you so far so that is a good sign. I have read other shoppers suggesting taking a photo of the receipt the way it is and then doctoring the actual receipt after you save the best copy without doctoring where you trace over the pertinent info on the receipt and send pics of them both side by side. They say it works. I find that receipts I cannot read at all sometimes can be read once my camera takes the photo and I use the sharpening up tools on my phone.
I just got in from work and I took another picture of the receipt on my dinning room table and I sent it in to the scheduler.. I mention again that this is what it look like when the cashier gave it to me. I l also mentioned that I hate for my report to be rejected because of a bad receipt.

I did another shop, for another company, and the receipt that they gave me you could not read it very well.

I took the picture of the receipt at the restaurant and I sent the report in when I got home.... The editor said that they needed a better picture of the receipt which they could not read.. Fine no problem... The receipt had the require information but I just traced over it with a pencil.. .

My report was accepted and I got paid but I received either an 7 or 8 because I pencil in the information and the editor said not to pencil in the information in.

I know I still got paid for the shop, but I like to receive 9s and 10s

And I did not want to ask the cashier for another receipt because I could not read it.


I am glad that the scheduler is working with me smiling smiley So we will see smiling smiley

ETA: 1 I just open it up in Gmail and at first you can hardly read it, but if you zoom in you can kind of read it better.

ETA 2: Once you zoom in, you can kind of see that it has the entrée listed, the side item listed, and the drink listed and the total listed but it is still not 100 %

Isaiah, not knowing what phone you have and what is available but I can edit these photos right on my phone. On mine I look at the photo in the gallery (or whatever it is called on your brand) and there are editing choices available if I click on the photo I want to edit right there. I usually use crop, pop and sparkle on my brand of phone (pixel) but you are likely to have something similar with a different name. I also have the choice of saving a fixed up copy and the original if it turns out the original is the best after all.
A suggestion:

When I need a 2nd receipt or a different version with more detail or even a clearer one I say I need the new one due to my accountant being very picky. It's an inside joke because my husband is our accountant.

Well it is not my fault that the receipt was not legible.. That is what the cashier gave me.. They did not give me a grade but according to my shop log, it is showing as received and I will be paid next month.

I still find it odd that the scheduler who contacted me no longer works for them..

So, even though they took points away, I am glad that my shop was accepted and I will be paid next month smiling smiley

The next time I get a bad receipt, I just say that I use the fetch app and I need a clear receipt smiling smiley

Did you try to enhance the picture on your phone? If you go to edit, there are tools to brighten, contrast, sharpen.
