Really really irritated at IPSOS!

Tuesday AM, got email for urgent gas station, bonused to $100. Available for "instantly self assign". So I did, and got a screen that said this shop not available.

OK. I wasn't fast enough, I guess.

Next day, even more urgent, now $120. I "instantly self assign" again. Same red screen. So, OK, somebody flaked, somebody else lucked out.

This morning I was actually checking my e-mail when the even MORE urgent email appeared. Now $150. Within seconds, I self-assigned, only to be notified that, once again, this shop is not available.

Meanwhile,, email to the generic mailbox gets the generic answer, that I may self assign off the job board.

I just am irked; I am in a cark and cavil mood!!!

Hmmmmm....but I have done them in the past, with all 10's. And on the job board, where is says self assign, it says "qualified". That just doesn't make sense.

But that is very interesting.
You might try messaging them via their Facebook page. They usually respond quickly there - much faster than the generic email box.
I don't know Diana.

rotflmfao.

Reminds me of the border guard inside the USA, looking at my driver's license (Nebraska) and asking me if I have a driver's license issued in the United States.

Do you want to be assigned or not? I didn't know Diana either. I sent a friendly email with my shopper ID number, and the job ID number, and said something like, "I've been a shopper with Ipsos for a number of years, but I'm having a problem with Sassie and can't seem to self-assign this shop. Can you assign it to me? I'd really appreciate it if you could!" That's all there is to it. I will say I don't do it very often, just so I won't come off as annoying, but she seems very accommodating for requests like this every once in a while. She's a Senior Field Manager, btw.

They probably arent really self assigning the high value stores even tho normally you can self assign for that project. Im guessing there is no easy way to turn that setting off.
I think Diana is a scheduler for other projects and shopnyc past experiences are she is happy to help on problems if she can.
Is it on the Sassie platform?

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Good grief, geography understanding is poor in the US. smiling smiley

Nebraska is between California and Massachusetts, a little closer to Canada than to Mexico, a hop, skip and a (long) jump from Denver. They grow wheat and cows there, sell insurance, and dispatch USAF bombers to points across the globe.
I used to live in New Mexico, and the number of people who asked me some variation of what it was like living in another country was amazing.

This morning's offer is $300.

Anybody up for a trip to western Nebraska?

If I thought my POS Jeep would make it, I sure would. Especially because it would be a chance to meet you.
I have seen postings like that, too. Eventually they go past deadline and dissappear because no one is able to self assign. I don't know why they do that but it happens, cease. It's not just you. I never thought about contacting a rep since usually there are none listed.
Too true. When I mentioned to a friend here I was going to visit my friend in New Mexico, she wanted to know why I was willing to go to a foreign country....

Recently I have seen several shops on the site that pay in the $ very small category but the same thing happens when I click on them. Of course I am only missing out on earning $10 or so but it is frustrating. I wonder if there is something wrong with their website or their new plan is to leave shops they really do not need done on there just in case they ever decide to have them completed.
When I checked it, it said it was up to $300 (Gering, NE?) but already assigned. Strange, though, I have not been receiving emails lately for this project though I can still self assign them. I don't know what's going on with them now that they are on ishopfirst with no scheduler (assuming this is the project to which you refer).

I see some of the smart phone shops have a bonus, but I can't self assign-no dates available. It says we can do up to 30, so I know I haven't reached my limit.
I recall several times when living in New Mexico being told I speak English very well. At that point my Spanish was somewhere between marginal and laughable.

Right project. If anyone's willing to drive this far, I suggest you check it in 82 days or so, LOL.

Usually if you can't do a shop, no dates are available if I remember right, there was a time or two when a date was available, and I got the same message as you. Once had a scheduler assign it for me, then the same day I got a message saying it had been removed. Curiously, the next month I was put on rotation for that location.
It seems like the scheduler snd the MSC have all the power and don’t bother to communicate anything to the shopper as they don’t have to.
