Coyle valet parking

How are these shops? Can you do a bunch in the same city in a day? Do the reports require a ton of writing and verbatim quotes?

As usual with Coyle, they do require verbatim quotes. I've done a few on them on the same day, like a mini-route. You arrive at one hotel, then while in the lobby fill the arrival part of the survey. Then you go to another hotel, where you do the departure part of the previous one, and the arrival part of the new one... etc... the shops have one thing very important to notice, whether or not the valet returned your car and turned off the engine. They will ALWAYS email you after the shop to double-confirm. Besides that, they are easy. The only thing I wished they'd do : get a small allowance to get a coffee/a snack from the hotel lobby. Some other MSC do that and it's always nice. Once you've done a few of them, you can count on 20-25 minutes for a full report.
Sounds good. Are you allowed to leave the hotel? Do you have any issues getting receipts? Also I saw their thing about bids - is the fee that’s listed the starting fee and you might bid higher? (I was thinking of bidding $30 on the $20 Sept shops, which is what the Aug shops are now going for- can’t do them though as I’m away).
You can leave the hotel, yes. They have some of those shops in Beverly Hills - I've used them often to park and then do a couple of shops on Rodeo Drive. Most of the times the valet won't even ask, but if they do, I always say I'm meeting someone staying at the hotel and they never asked for more details. I never had any issues getting receipts. You can always try and bid higher, I know some locations in Santa Barbara for example always end up for $40 or $50 at the end of the month. It will all depend if they have enough shoppers for the area or not.
If you are bidding for next month for $30 they will sit on your application until next month to see if someone underbids you. In my area you wouldn't likely get $30 until half way through the month.
I do a ton of these. Barb the scheduler is a joy to work with. You can do them any day of the week from 8am to 8pm, so they’re a lot more convenient than the other parking shops that have very narrow hours. I love the folks at Servimer but right now these Coyle shops are paying more and are easier to fit into my schedule, and I can’t get Servimer to match the fee that these pay. The report is a breeze and while the editor often has to check back on the engine she’s very nice as well.
I just did a valet recently and the attendant just wrote "$40 pd" and the date on the ticket and gave it back to me. It wasn't questioned by the editor.

Coyle---TOP of my $hit list. Bar none.

Looks like Miss Pottymouth has been banned from doing Coyle shops.
