Coyle Restaurant Shopping Rotation

Does anybody know how long Coyle wants shoppers to wait between shops at the same restaurant? There’s no official rotation timeline I’ve seen anywhere, but I’ve noticed that I’ll often have my applications linger for a while if they’re for a place I’ve been before. Once I even had a shop unassigned because Coyle decided I’d shopped too recently.

And in general, if people have insight into how Coyle assigns their shops, I’d love to know. Sometimes I’ll apply for a few restaurants and end up getting assigned the ones I’m less excited about.

before COVID I was told 12 months for fine dining, 3 months for fast casual but if they are having trouble filling it they may wave the rotation.

I have been told the rotation is a year. I have also experienced being given assignments two or three times in a year so I guess it is whatever suits their fancy that day.
Earlier this year I actually had a second visit to the same eatery accepted before I had done the first visit. I think the visits were about six weeks apart. In general I tend to have a bid accepted about six months after my last visit.
I think it varies by client. I have seen some 30 days, some 120 days, and one for which I was told 5 months.
