I recently did a ghost kitchen delivery shop for Coyle. Neither the job description nor the guidelines said anything about writing an online review of the client.
After I was assigned the job I opened the questionnaire and discovered that the last question was (paraphrasing) “I have submitted a five star review on the delivery platform.” This is just a button without a “no” or “N/A” option and the wording made it clear the client expected the shopper to leave a five star review.
Happily I had an excellent experience with the food temperature, quality and delivery timing. It was the best ghost kitchen meal I’ve eaten (the bar is low). So the five star review was deserved. I’m not sure if that mandate would have disappeared off the survey if the questions about timing and quality were answered negatively.
