ISPOS Mobil App

Is the mobile app on Presto, or do they have their own app? Any help is appreciated.

Ipsos Shopmetrics has a mobile app. It's a renamed version of MobiAudit. I don't remember the exact name, but it has Ipsos and Next in the name. There is no compatible mobile app for the Sassie platform, no matter which MSC.
I too have a question about the mobile app. Now that the mailing jobs are due in no later than 8 PM west coast time it is a time crunch for us late risers who go out and do afternoon shops.
I would like feedback from those using the app with just a cell phone. Are there easy ways to enter all those long numbers on the receipt if using the app and is it easy to just grab the photos you need from the phone? Basically how difficult is it to do these on the phone screen vs a lap top for a phone app beginner?

Sandy,

I don't like the mobile app. I quit using it within a few months of when it came out. It's actually easier on both my phone and my tablet to just use the regular website for shop metrics. The caveat being that I have a stylus for both screens, I could not do it with just my fingers.

Both of my devices are Androids, and both of them have a scan function in the camera to take pictures of receipts.
And if I read the instructions right on the last shop I did, you have to submit the first shop before you can do the next one?
Unless the rule changed recently they recommend that you submit the shop before you do another one but I doubt it is a rule you have to stick to. I do my shops and come home and input them and have done two in the same day and then entered them when I got home.
Okay so I found scan in drive. However it does say that the scan is saved as a pdf. If I just take a photo of the receipt I can still crop it and save it as a jpg which i believe is the usual favorite format. Does a scan with a phone camera look different than a photo that is cropped? I usually just snap a photo of my receipts.
Sandy,

I don't know much about iPhones. But on Android devices the scan feature is in the camera. It's on both my Samsung tablet, and my Google phone. It is usually clearer. Than the pics the phone takes. And I have noticed that if I use the flash with the scan, the pics are even clearer. You will notice the difference.

It's still a photo, saves as a jpg. And you will be able to adjust the size and shape before you save it.
I have a google 3a phone and looked at the choices in camera and did not see it. Maybe only in later versions? When I looked it up they recommended using lens. Lens does have a scan setting but it seems to be mostly for QR codes. I took a pic with Lens scan but then had no idea how to save it or do anything with it.
I love lens for translating and identifying things.
With the app, you can easily add the photos from your camera roll to the report. I have a Samsung and it works well. I can take a photo or scan it with my camera. I usually take the photo and crop or adjust it as needed before uploading. I love doing the reports on the app. I do it while killing the 30 minutes between the shops. I don't have a short cut for the long numbers. I just enter them myself. When that part of the report is done, I feel like I'm home free. The rest is easy.
