Intellishop has posted a new round of dealer shops. If any of you have done car shops for them, they are pretty involved. They are now all listed for $25. With gas at $4/gallon, it would cost me $10 just to get to a location, and hour driving, an hour at the location, at least an hour for the report. So, $25 - $10 = $15/3 = $5/hr. Really?

It's very low pay, especially considering you can get their other car shops for over $100.00.

Their other car shops get up to $150.

Wait for them to be bonused up to $110-160.

They are suddenly not paying for those $150 shops. I did 2. They were accepted now they are rejected them just claiming they were falsified because i didnt get a follow up. Thats not my fault and has nothing to do whether the shop happened or not. I have all the 3 required proofs. Thru are just trying to get put of paying because they wanted them done but didnt want to pay $150.

Did you ask them why it was not paid?

I'll bet the shoppers who have done the "normally $30" dealerships have been kicking themselves as the fees rise throughout the month. This round, I'm seeing those newly posted shops at a substantially higher starting rate. Good move for the MSC, I expect that might be enough for more shoppers to take them early before higher bonuses need to be offered. The long rotation period might be what holds people back, though.

I hate dealerships but the bonuses made them hard to ignore so I dove in. Now I'm addicted! Got my eye on a few for week 3 or 4, if no one else takes them!

Furthermore, I am thoroughly enjoying working with this MSC as I find them quite "team" oriented, fair and helpful. It is refreshing to be treated like a valued member of the team. Unfortunately, they generally don't have a huge array of shops in my area and most of my work is with the Walmart-style MSC that gives not a single care about its long time, proven shoppers, contrary to all their hype. I'm jaded.

I read through the job offering quickly but I think you have to do three or four different car dealerships in the same area on the same day.
