Explanation please

On the Sassie form, there was a link that said something like, "Printer-friendly version of this form." It's now gone.

I don't like this. When you use the file/print option in your browser, I don't think it prints the "hidden" questions that appear based on your answers. Plus, it prints extra garbage you don't need.

Thanks, Ipsos.

Yes, those did allow us to see all the questions on the form, which came in handy every once in a while. I sure hope nobody was actually using it to print.

I would print out reports for projects that I was not totally familiar with.

And I continue to print out the first page for each assignment so I could take notes for each stop. Obviously you can still do that from the View/Submit page, but the page layout in Print mode was better.

I've got some fairly new-to-me assignments this week and have printed out the full report as it was only 3 pages.

Obviously they are trying to get everyone to do the reports in SASSIE in realtime. Too bad that is just not feasible far too often, especially on remote gas station routes (my specialty) with sketchy web access.

I liked to view the printable version so I could see the report in full before completing the shop. Now, you would need to open the survey and "save" it for later in order to view the full report. That's what I did last week for one.

I sometimes would print from the printable version if it was a new to me shop because it was less paper than the view/submit pages. I also still print the 1st page of reports for notes.

I tried to do a report on my phone and it just was horrible. It closed out and did not upload photos. I did it the old way by taking my notes and photos and completing at home on pc.

This is straight out of Ipsos' own form for a shop I'm doing this week:
-----------------------------------------
"SHOPPER GUIDELINES (US): Please click here for the [name redacted] shopper guidelines.

Before conducting your visit, please review the full survey by selecting the "Printer-friendly version of this form" link above, which will show ALL questions and applicable answer options."
-----------------------------------------
Was it really that big of a deal to leave the link there? Thanks, Ipsos, for making things that much more difficult.
