MF Pmt

Is anyone else having flashbacks of Dec 2022 and the late December payment? I certainly hope this is not a repeat of last year. Maybe I am just antsy....has anyone been paid for November shops yet?

They seem to do this every December. It was just 2022, sadly.

There's already a thread on this, but to answer your question, no, I haven't been paid yet. RBG, BARE and Intellishop paid me within the last few days, Alta360 isn't due for a few days, ACL and Secret Shopper have at least told me my paper check is in the mail, all other companies are current with me. Market Force is the lone deadbeat.

I didn’t mean to create a duplicate post. The other post name didn’t stand out to me when I posted. I surely hope we get paid tomorrow.
Same here - no payment or posted intention of payment.
Nonpayment here as well. I jest checking my account but I decided to come here to see if there were any updates.
No payment still. Nothing showing up on their site either, whether it's an explanation, or the amount showing for December payment in the payment section. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I'm seriously considering cancelling tomorrow's job due to NON-PAYMENT.
Seems we go through this conversation every time MF doesn't pay ON the 20th. I don't know when this was changed, but their terms of payment now state: "All payments will be disbursed by the 20th business day of the following month for all “valid” reports. In most cases, this payment will cover all completed assignments from the previous month.

Depending on what they include or exclude as "business days," this won't always be on the 20th. I know we've all come to count on payment by or on the 20th, but this month's payment isn't yet late according to their terms.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

It says on their payment site the disbursement date is the 21st which is today. I haven't received payment yet, but I think the 21st still has 12 hours left in it.
Same here. The amount and Dec 21 shows on my payment history, but nothing has been deposited.
Hi, I don't think I've posted here before, but I've been shopping for about 3 years. I've never had a problem with payments before (including from Marketforce). On my approved shops it says that the payment was dispersed on 12/19, but it has not shown up in my bank account yet. I have emailed them 3 times and haven't gotten any kind of response yet as to what the problem is.

Has anyone else had a problem with Marketforce payments this week or is it just me? Wondering if it is systemic or just my account for some reason, though I've been checking their message board and I see no reference to anything.

Any suggestions as to what to do next? Do any of you know a phone number I could call as my emails are not being answered? Do you think the accounts department could already be shut down for the holidays?
I'm at a loss, and man, I could really use the money. I was counting on it for Christmas.

Gee, I'm sorry, I haven't seen any others--I am not used to using this forum. So, it is not only me? I guess that's reassuring. I did put in a search for Marketforce topics and came up with nothing prior to writing this. Can you tell me how I can see the other threads--thanks, and sorry for my lack of expertise on this.

No worries! My real complaint is about those who put vague headers in the subject line or don't use keywords that will appear in a search. In the top 15 current topics, there are 3 other threads on the same subject: one titled "MF Pmt", 2 both titled, "So here it is..the 20th..where's the SS?" Yours is the only one with a clear title: "Marketforce payments this week".

My wish for the new year is that posters would put some thought into their subject line, not just random things like "You won't believe what happened!", "I am so mad!", or "Has this ever happened to you?"

I did just get a response from MF (2 of them! lol) looks like payment will show up today or tomorrow. Have a great Christmas and Happy New Year. I really need to follow this forum more as it seems to be very informative and actually, kind of fun to read.
Hi, I started the thread that said, "MF PMT." The reason I did that was that I tried another subject and was given a prompt that there was a duplicate post with the same subject. I was thinking that maybe it was from last year (2022) when the same thing happened. Sorry to confuse anyone. It is what it is.....

No worries! My real complaint is about those who put vague headers in the subject line or don't use keywords that will appear in a search. In the top 15 current topics, there are 3 other threads on the same subject: one titled "MF Pmt", 2 both titled, "So here it is..the 20th..where's the SS?" Yours is the only one with a clear title: "Marketforce payments this week".

My wish for the new year is that posters would put some thought into their subject line, not just random things like "You won't believe what happened!", "I am so mad!", or "Has this ever happened to you?"

Several months ago there was one poster who started something like 5 or 6 threads titled, "Sonic."

So based on that they're not really due until the 29th, excluding weekends and holidays. Maybe just say "payments will be made by the end of the following month"?

Good thing this coming February is a leap month or they wouldn't have to pay us at all! smiling smiley

Well, we don't know if they count Saturdays as business days; many businesses these days do.

I'm just posting what's on their site. Their terms are their terms. But, yes, maybe different wording is in order.

See, here's the thing. I really don't give a rat's *ss what MF says about when they pay. Either they pay, or I don't work. That's how it works. And there is no reason on this earth why they cannot be prompt, other than incompetance or grift. It's that simple. They posted payment for 12/21. It's 12/21 and no payment. Let's face it; this is a skeazy company. And frankly, I cannot imagine why any Secret Shopper would take up their side. Seems very dysfunctional.

That's kind of the thing, by keeping the language as elastic as possible, they can pretty much pay whenever the hell they want, and shoppers can't get a fix on when to expect payment. In the example I provided above, if weekends and holidays were discounted, this coming February doesn't even get to a 20th business day until the leap 29th. Many years it wouldn't have one at all.
