Top 10 companies you like working for

I am curious what everyone's top 10 companies are. Just wondering what companies are the best to work with.

thanks

I don’t work with a ton of companies due to living in a rural area but I love Second to none, Ipsos, marketforce and reality based group.
ok, I'll play..

I like:
Cirrus
Coyle
360-Relay
Jancyn
Secret Shopper
Reality Based Group
MarketForce
IntouchInsight
SeeLevelCX

that's close enough..
Sticking strictly to the topic as given - "Top 10 companies you like working for" - my answer would be: none of them. I wouldn't do this work if I didn't have to.

But as for which companies I typically contract with, the lion's share goes to:
Customer Impact
Ipsos
RBG
IntelliShop
2nd To None
MarketForce
Bare
Confero
The Consumer Insight
Ath Power

I'm signed up with a lot of MSCs, but the vast majority never have anything even remotely close to my area.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
I like A Closer Look. They don't have a lot of shops in my area, but I've done a few for them. When I had questions/needed clarification, they responded super fast AND they've randomly bonused a couple shops after I've submitted - I guess because my report was very good or detailed (I keep a spreadsheet where I enter shops, reimbursement, pay, etc., so, I know those shops were NOT advertised as bonused when I signed up). It's just nice that they monetarily acknowledge my effort.
I also did a bunch for MarketViewpoint - very responsive to questions, and good feedback. Because of rotation limits, I've basically sucked their job board dry for a while, though. Servimer has also been very responsive, and gives detailed, specific feedback, which I appreciate.
And then there are particular schedulers I like at various companies for the same reason, and some I try to avoid because I feel like I'm floating in the wind if I have a question or need to cancel (for example, I legit had covid and had to cancel a shop, and even though I offered to send documentation, and did it as soon as I knew - before any due dates - when they cancelled the shops, they gave me lowered ratings for not doing the shop).
Unfortunately there is one company that has cornered the market in my area. From gas stations to banking to luxury watches, they own 80% of the shopping contracts and I absolutely abhor working for them (hundreds of reason stated in other threads by many shoppers). Aside from that one, I like working with Intellishop and Alta360 as they are fair with their shoppers. ACL was good but I finally figured out that I did not need a cup of coffee that require 5-8 sentences in 5-8 sections of a report. Also good for me but no longer offering shops that fit my criteria are Sinclair, Second to None and Marketforce. And Servimer is awesome, I just don't like parking shops.

Ath
IPSOS
In Touch
Market Force
HS Brands
Mintel
White Clay
Bare
Intelli
The Consumer Insight
Reality Based Group

And that about sums up the companies I shop for with a few extras scattered here and there

I'm signed up with about 10 companies. Bare and Ath Power are my favorites. Communication is typically excellent, they pay on time, and I get decent / good fees for doing their shops. Bare ranks a little higher, but I do more shops through Ath 'cause they offer more stuff that's in my wheehouse.

I cannot figure out the Coyle website. No matter how I Filter, I always end up with 50 airport shops on the list.
My favorites are the ones that pay well, pay on time, and respect their shoppers.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
IntouchInsight bought SeeLevelCX

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
Signed up with scads of MSCs.

Banned from 2.

I have less than 10 that regularly have work in my area, and I tend to stick with them when I travel as I know the workflows.

Ipsos is my #1 for gross dollars.

I also shop monthly for IntelliShop (credit union) and BARE (lotsa car washes and the occasional home improvement visit).

I wind up doing a restaurant for RBG every other month or so. Did my first higher-end steakhouse for them recently and would love to snag another one. They had a lot more regular stuff in my area pre-COVID, including monthly department store audits that paid great and were super easy.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Intouch Insight (ISecretShop but not Sassie)
Confero
IPSOS (but not Sassie)
SecretShopper
BestMark
MarketForce

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009

There are no longer 10 top companies. And the top company, unfortunately, has made it impossible for a shopper to make enough money they need for the time spent. I am a route shopper and that is my perspective.

I experience them all as mostly the same. There's one that has some rude schedulers, but that's it.
BUT, I have to say that in my years of MSing - the Ace MSC has stood head and shoulders above the others
in terms of reasonableness, fairness, friendliness, etc. I would work them for anytime, anywhere
Because of where I live now just not a ton of shops available. Pretty much its just Confero, Seelevel, Ipsos and Marketforce and Intellishop. I like them all. When I used to live in Washington, Reality Check was absolutely amazing, cant say enough great things. I also like KSS alot but cant seem to find them now

Shopping Idaho and Oregon/Idaho border region.
I don't share my customer lists.

That said, I will share that very few of my favorite 10 have been mentioned on prior posts; however, several of those on my 10-foot pole list have been mentioned.

Lisa,

My answer is, it depends upon what is important to you. Many shoppers desire and/or have need of rapid payment. While I am unwilling to wait three mos., a month and 1/2 is acceptable to me. There MUST be a bilaterale line of communication, preferably by phone. In addition, absolutely no texting. Finally, the company must have work that fits into one or more of the three reasons I shop. With that having been stated; here are my picks:

Informa AKA Curinos
Mintel
Pinnacle
Intelli-shop
Service Sleuth AKA HS Brands
Service Intell AKA Intouch
Second 2 None
Looking at my highest payers from last year:

IPSOS
customer impact
Intellishop
rqa
Market force
EPMS
Secret shopper
The source
White clay

Funny how some of your top ten have no work near me at all.
Lisa, if by chance do you have a contact telephone number for Cuinos? I am owed a payment for a completed shop and I cannot find a number to call. I have been researching this for several days and can't find a support number that answers.
Thanks for the reply I am signed up to too many and trying to shave it down to 10 places and I am compiling my own list but was curious what others think.
Acino, of the four posts you made saying basically the same thing only the spelling you used in this one is the correct name of the company. Sign in to your account and you will see the shop listed if you search for jobs you have completed. There you should be able to see pay status but you can also click on the help/contact link within the shop you did and send a message that way.

Any chance you know how to get in touch with Curinos formally Informa? They owe me for a completed shop and I cannot reach anyone to discuss the problem with.
Thanks to everyone for your top 10 I see many of my top ten in all your lists and I appreciate your
input!

You never did share your top ten list with us. I am curious to see it. Or did I miss it somehow?
Anyone know if Russell Stover are still shopped?
