Sinclair Customer Metrics?

Does anyone do anything with them regularly? I have done some shops with them, but it seems like their client list is really small (at least in my areas). Never had trouble with getting paid. Just seems like they are limping along and waiting to be put out of misery, but maybe that is just my view. I don't see much available for shops anymore. They had a pretty large pizza chain for awhile and I think that ended.

Was curious if people shopped for them regularly or have they become an afterthought when searching for assignments?

I used to do their pizza shops 1x per month and also a Midwestern "general store" but those have been gone for a while, unfortunately.

I see a handful of things in my area (shoe shops and sometimes payment testing) for them but haven't shopped with them in over a year. They did always pay consistently though.

My experience with Sinclair was their low fees. Unless they were desperate and I was passing by, the work:pay ratio was never right. Either they no longer have shops in my area or I have been dropped.

I did bank shops with them several years ago as well as pretzels places. They do not have them anymore. Now they have a show store but it is far away.

I like working with them. What little work I do, they pay on a predictable schedule, and work with me on scheduling. I don't have your perception that they are in financial distress.

In my area, they have a few clients I see posted every month, but I don't have visibility to their shops in other metro areas. Their web site is nothing fancy, but it has never failed me.

This is one of those MSCs that keep their rates as they were back in the late 2000s.

I use to do a major western grocery chain, but I'm not sure if they still have that client.

I have always found their schedulers to be really helpful and accommodating.

If you do want to check shops in other areas, there's a way you can add additional zip codes.

I love shopping for Sinclair. I love their lowkey pleasant interactions. They had the orange Roman pizza shops, and that fell off the list maybe 2 years ago? Those shops ended up being scattered between 2 other MSC's, but never on a regular basis and always a battle to land an assignment that was to take place the same day. I did not like the spontaneous nature of those sorts of assignments. I loved doing those pizza shops when Sinclair had them because I could schedule them well in advance and know when I did not need to cook! They also have burger shops specific to mostly Northern California. A few other different non food shops as well.

They haven't had anything in my area since the general stores discontinued. They were great to work for.

I shop them regularly and love the "small independently-owned shop" atmosphere. Schedulers are pleasant to work with and behave professionally and respectfully. Communications are always easy to handle. I don't have to think about having my face ripped off by some irate scheduler who may or may not feel like conducting herself in a business-friendly manner.

The only shops I have done with them are the shoe store with the BOGO half off deal. It doesn't pay much, but I usually buy a pack of socks with the $10 reimbursement. I have 2 teenage boys, so they come in handy.

I completed two jobs for this MSC in 2006, both of which were heavy on work/time and light on fees. When, in 2007, I adopted my 3 category system, they were not a consideration. In 2018, though, I would be literally driving by, so completed a fuel shop for $18+$5, with the $5 being a needed lunch. The pic requirement was only the men's room, exterior and the receipt. For the following month, the pic requirement had been modified to include three covert overt interior shots. Going forward in time, I never considered them again.

I used to do the same shops. Loved their high $$ bonuses!!
Now I only see a burger joint I wouldn’t normally eat at, except for their ice cream lol

The shoe store is worthwhile only if I have something else that lands me in the same parking lot. I had one scheduled but there was a weather event that interfered and I was able to change the task that would land me nearby with a couple clicks of the mouse, changing theirs required waiting for assistance. Unfortunately, there wasn't time to wait for that. I'd still do something for them but there just isn't much to choose from here.

They had the "shore" sub sandwich shop up until ACL got it. It paid $8 plus the reimbursement amd was easier.

I read on this site that Sinclair was purchased by RBG.
