Sonata GBW

I got a call from Sonata scheduler at the end of last month that they were desperate for a shopper to take some shops for a tech company inside a major big box tech retailer. I just had to complete the quiz, which I was only 1 question short on and was preparing everything to go. I then found out next day that someone else had taken the shops. I just found that very unprofessional to deal with. What kind of scheduler calls you and then also leaves the shops open for someone else to take? They certified me, but then I didn't have the shops to do. I couldn't care less about the certification to complete the shops when the pay wasn't worth it unless it was the $50 each they were promising to get it done at the end of the month. Seriously, they were only offering $12 each before, so I turned it down when they called me earlier in the month.

Anyone else ever deal with them and have issues? They are new to me, and I didn't like what I saw. Basically, they just have a bunch of oil center inspection shops if anyone is interested in that. You could slip in their oil, so I would be cautious. I would do an oil change, but a full on inspection for $30 seems really cheap.

If the client name includes a peanut butter brand, you can do a forum search for the client brand. I know this topic was discussed. I remember at least one shopper saying that the MSC kept calling and/or texting throughout the whole assignment to make sure they were doing everything right. As far as GWB goes, there's at least one other forum member who had the same experience you did. If I post the links to those convos it might be the same as naming the client.
Don't think I've ever seen anything but oil change audits in my area. Those have been on my 10-foot pole list from day one.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Yes, agree. The piddly amount they pay is not worth the risk. I don't understand why companies want to pay mock inspectors so poorly and hope that they do better on official inspections. I'm pretty sure that's what these oil change company inspections basically are. I haven't seen actual oil change audits.
