Anyone know why Ipsos is taking so long?

....both on the Ipsos Sassie site and on Presto....Ipsos seems to be taking much longer (7-14 days) to approve payment for shops...anyone know why?

they seem to approve them slower when the time isn't pressing.. at the beginning of a round, when the pay is low they don't hurry.
Each project has different turnaround times. Do we have nothing better to do than to complain about Ipsos shop approval/payment times? They are one of the best companies when it comes to payment speed. We must be hurting for things to complain about if we are coming after Ipsos on that issue.
I think the observation is justified. Its not really about the payment time, its about the editing time. They are taking 10-14 days to review some projects. Thats not normal or "one of the best" in my opinion.
The debit card shop turnarounds are wildly inconsistent. Sometimes they're approved within ten minutes. Other times they take a week or more. They clearly do not have enough people editing them.

Well, if more information is needed, it would be nice to hear from them in a day or two instead of a couple of weeks.
I agree that if they are going to return for more details or question something, it's better to have it sooner than later because the more shops we do and the more time that passes between could lead to forgetting details.

I was coming at it from the standpoint of people wanting their money sooner because I have seen others complain about that with Ipsos which I feel is a lame complaint for them.

I really only do 2 or 3 shop types with Ipsos (Chinese/bank stuff/occasional Italian) that I really do not have any problems with them asking for additional information. For those that love those petroleum clients, that is different story.

They go on a long stretch of shop Sun/Mon/Tues, edited/approved by Friday, paid the following Tuesday. Some shoppers become accustomed to that.

Then suddenly they go on a stretch of not editing/approving until the next Friday, + 7 more days (or more).

To your earlier point, you are right they are still the fastest payer. I could be wrong, but think its the inconsistency that likely frustrates some of the shoppers you are referring to.

The question is valid since people come to exoect payment at different intervals based on historical payments. Some of their Presto jobs were paying out in 2 to 3 days, so when your at day 7 to 10 and the job hasnt been accepted you start to wonder if there is a problem.
