IPSOS Editing

Does anyone know how far behind IPSOS is on editing their gas stations? I thought they were quick to pay.

I just had one finalized yesterday that I submitted on 4/30
Def been a longer cycle the past 30+ days.
They are starting to work on ones I did the 3rd and 4th of this month.
For quarterly type projects that have two three or four months to get done, there's always a huge amount that get done in the first week or two. This first tranche is from the shoppers that decide to do shops at base pay. Considering the fact that they due date is still months away, the shops are going to have the lowest priority. Pairing that with the sheer number that come in immediately, the editing is slow. The editing will speed up during the middle of the cycle when there aren't as many shops coming in. Of course, when we get close to the deadline, the shops will be edited faster. They need to make sure that they get done correctly so there will be time to repost them if necessary. However, there is no impetus for them to edit quickly at the beginning of the cycle.

Also, since some editors work across projects, they will be focused on any other projects that might be close to their deadline to the detriment of those that still have plenty of time.

It's definitively been slow but not to the point that I'm concerned. I submitted 2 reports on the same day and only one was reviewed and approved the next day. The longest wait time I've had after submitting a report was about a week and a half long.
Ipsos has an editing problem. They are late, and they are late much more often than in the past. They are late on Sassie, and on Presto. Their sole saving grace, in the past, was that although they paid less, they paid quickly. Now, the bonuses are lower, and pay is often deferred a week or two, especially for certain clients (e.g.-Chinese fast food client). Many here on this site have defended IPSOS in the past because they paid more quickly than most MSC's...most of the time. My opinion is that they pay less, but more quickly, SOME of the time. And, their editors are getting worse.. making up rules/guidelines/instructions on the fly, in defense of questionable "rejections". It's not a good trend.

Interesting, since I just had 4 gas stations rejected in a row for a reason I’ve never seen before. I appealed and got a “non-answer” answer. I have done these stations for 7 years, with two MSC’s…never had this happen. And this was two weeks after they were submitted.

What was the reason?
I received a 10 on a smart phone shop and a friendly reminder that shops are supposed to be submitted by 11:59 PM the same day. I submitted it the same day at 10:11 PM.

TBH, I don't think they present editing windows on SASSIE, so they cannot be termed "late" on that platform.

They might not edit as promptly as one has become accustomed, but that's your problem, not theirs. Even with slow editing times they pay faster than anyone else in the industry 99.9% of the time.

Presto definitely presents timeframes for acceptance and payment...
