You ok?
Couldn't be better gigi...in fact, it's getting better every day!
I just got another double fee bonus this morning. Ah, but I can't seem to share my enthusiasm because it seems happiness is not permitted in this thread.![]()

Keep striving! Meanwhile, I’ll continue to enjoy a nice meal at TXR and bring home a fresh bag of rolls and cinnamon butter for the next day. The rolls keep me fat and sassy. I can eat and dream about striving for better — one day.

Those who don't trot out their finances or their education or their accomplishments at every chance they get? they don't have to, they know what they got lol.....they're secure with that.
Our grandfather used to say that empty barrels make the most noise. lol.
One of my grandfather's quotes' was, "Ah, don't talk so dumb." And you're right, you need to feel secure where you are or improve yourself. My mother raised three children all on her own "secretary salary" and I recall her saying she strives for an increase to "laborers pay." I wore hand-me-down clothes.
There was one winter where mom didn't have the money to pay for replacing a broken furnace. She didn't want to go into debt. We slept with extra blankets and a small electric resistance heater that winter until she could save for the furnace. I learned how to work on cars because mom didn't have money to get routine maintenance done. It was a scarce mentality and I'm sure mom could have received government assistance because she was too proud for handouts. As I left the nest and learned more about finances, I helped mom invest her modest pension payout.
I've worked for my college education. It wasn't handed to me. I taught myself how to invest in the stock market. I taught myself about auto and home repairs, I learned about the FIRE movement. I shop for discounts using, among other things, the Slickdeals forum. I also learned about mystery shopping and making offers for higher fees.
As my kindergarten teacher used to say, "if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!"
So in conclusion, if you are happy with no fee, and feel secure with that, clap your hands. Meanwhile, I'm striving for better.
Ah, "dreamers"...per search engine; "Many prominent figures have spoken about Dreamers, advocating for their protection and a pathway to citizenship. These include President Obama, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, and Senator Dick Durbin."
Of course we found out these folks were notorious, habitual liars.

I hadn't read this stuff in several days. I got a kick out of all the opinions.
I won't touch the burger place at base pay because I know it will go up. I am not wiling to wait on the wings place because it's too new and they seem to be "hot item" since it's a new thing to do. So If I wait, then I miss out and I don't want to miss out on these. I like the place.
I will take the steak place at the $50 reimburse because there are never any bonuses on these in my area (maybe other areas).
I do not shop for fees. I shop for what I like. There are plenty of higher paying shops that I ignore because I do not care about faking interest in apartments, nice watches, clothes, etc.
So for the food shops I enjoy, if I know they don't have fees and won't have fees, I will take it.
For the food shops I enjoy and I know they WILL offer higher pay, I will wait for those.

Can you tell me the MSC that had the "wings" DINING ROOM shops before they ended up with Marketforce? I am aware of the BAR AUDIT shops that are done with another MSC for $10 to pay attention to bartender detail for 1 hour which I am not going to do.
This dining room scenario for the wings is NEW and was not at another MSC (to my knowledge) within the past several years. I remember doing DINING wings a long time ago, but the shops went away.
Who are the other "new" clients you are claiming came to MF where no fees are being paid? I'm not aware of new ones with no pay other than this "wings" client.

You don't have to do the work if you don't want. I never said you did. But you are claiming that MF is taking new clients with NO fee from other MSC. The chicken finger place has been with MF for years and starts at NO fee. The wings place is NEW for dining room experiences and has no fee. They were not taken from another MSC unless you want to name the MSC which had them before, but I am guessing you are not able to.
So don't get mad when someone challenges your claim stating "This was about these huge corporations switching from MSCs where they paid fees to MF and magically, there are not fees."
If you are talking about the burger place with stalls....didn't MF have them before losing them to get them back again. So I don't consider that to be "new."
As far as "working", I would spend more time , money and effort making dinner and doing dishes than it takes to go get someone else to serve me and write a 10 minute report at best on the wings client. I'll take a 10 minute report and $10 out of pocket for feeding 3 people all day long.

Not trusting to my ability to recollect, I checked my log. My first job at the WINGS place was in 2009 for a dining room shop. The audits, for me, began for the first of three MSCs in 2020 for 18 visits. The second company was only 4 shops in 2022. The final MSC was a single job in 2024.
Toward the end of the run for me, the acceptable pay of $30, was rarely ever available. This, of course, due to other shoppers willing to work for less. I do not criticize those ICs.

This leaves the burger "stall" shops where they were with a Sassie company that paid a fee and came BACK to MF where they are not paying a fee to begin with now. I do not remember if they were paying a fee before they left MF to begin with.
I believe they were paying 6.00 when they were with MF before. Then they moved to Sassie at 11.00 and later changed to 9.00
