Anyone doing shops for Cirrus?

About 10 years ago I did 2 apartment shops for them but never got paid. I've heard other shoppers will not touch them with a 10-foot pole. What has been your experience? Have they changed at all over the last 10 years?

Despite the warnings from this forum, I did several mystery shops for them when I first started. It took 4 months for the money to hit my account. I had to chase my payment.

Not anymore.

They were my #1 vendor for years when my goal was to build accounts receivables. Now my MO is to generate max cashflow as quickly as possible, so I cannot justify waiting that long for payment.

I did a basic web inquiry shop for them when I first started. I waited over 6 months for $2. That was the only $2 job I ever did and the only one for Cirrus.
Just don’t. The scheduler is bipolar and will randomly pull your assignments for no valid reason, the editors will manufacture reasons not to pay you, and if the first 2 things don’t happen, everything said about trying to get paid is true. They were banned from the MSPA for all of the above and most job posting platforms won’t have them either.

Cirrus is on the ISS platform and app. I'm certain that the owners/operators of ISS know of the issues with Cirrus and allow them to post their jobs there anyway. If the owners and operators are indeed aware of the issues, it shows that they lack personal character and have questionable business and personal ethics.

The continued Cirrus/ISS partnership is another example of how greed and money so often end up screwing over the worker at the bottom of the totem pole. The majority of the shops on ISS are legitimate and offered by reputable companies that generally hold up there end of the agreement. A new shopper that signs up for the app would simply assume that "Cirrus" would be just as reputable as the others. How wrong will their assumption be when they don't get paid for their hard work and effort.

I just noticed zero pay/zero reimbursement phone shops for them on ISS. Are they serious?

No... just Cirrus :-D

IN the beginning.. I did a few shops for Cirrus. I did everything they said they wanted in the instructions and the guidelines. With each shop, 2 - 3 weeks after the fact they sent emails asking for exact quotes from the employees that I interacted with. I wasn't recording conversations then, and even if I had a really good memory, I don't, I would not have been able to give anyone exact quotes at that point. I have never been paid for a shop I did for Cirrus, even the one that they finally approved.

We have 2 rules about mystery shopping that we never violate: 1. We don't do POP Audits and 2. We don't work for Cirrus.
I just saw the iSS email and came here to check for comments.

Here's the "Project Title: **PHONE ONLY! -- Super Easy Form - Apartment Shop" and the "Compensation: Shop Pay: None / Reimbursement: None."

At least now they're honest about the pay.

Hopefully Kayla will pick a few of these up and Tiktok about it.

How she's somehow making all kinds of money on these no pay shops. And then we can pay her to tell us her secrets.

I saw that, too, and emailed them, asking how they could offer no pay/reimbursement. I received this reply:
"You must be a QSI employee to accept these shops-to become an employee, please apply via our website at www.qsispecialists.com. They take care of the compensation and assignments for Nevada shops."
So what does that mean?? Are these shops only available to Nevada shoppers? Still quite foggy info, IMHO.

I feel like I read here before that Nevada jobs aren't even advertised on IC sites because of the regulations? Maybe they are trying to skirt the regulations?
I've been seeing a lot of complaints about this company and the failure to pay so I contacted them about payment for some apartment shops I did for them a while back. I got a reply in minutes stating that the payment has been processed and I should receive it between today and Monday. I'll keep everyone posted but I was surprised at how quickly they responded to my email.

I do Cirrus and have not ever had any issues.

You are not paid by Cirrus either. You work in NV. Why do you not explain this?
