I find them great to work with. Projects pay well, guidelines are clear and reports are well designed. They pretty much only do banking and credit card projects - open a new account, open a new card, inquire about mortgage rates or investment options. They pay on time. Lots of rotation restrictions, based on the nature of the projects.
I only have done one project from them in May. It was a phone shop. I have no idea if the shop was approved. I have emailed the scheduler twice to find out and never received a response back.
quite a long time ago you used to be able to do many more shops with them. Then they shut down the frequency with which you could do the shops. The last time I needed a 0% credit card, I did that scenario. The one i got ends after 16 months, so I will be going again soon since it's been almost 1 year now.
Avoid the ridiculous Medicare phone shops. Recorded shop with really convoluted scenario. They take a LOT longer than to 15 to 20 minutes claimed. The script calls for you to ask for insurance rates in 2 states which will result in agent providing only one as who needs health insurance policies in 2 states when coverage from one policy is nationwide.Totally off the wall. This Oldman always despises lies about how short or fast and easy a shop is. Do better MSC or do the shop yourself. You myst be 65 or over to do the shop…with age comes wisdom…no one with wisdom should fall for this bogus shop

This pretty much sums up my experience with apc. I've done 37 assignments over the span of many years, and I've never had any negative issues with them.

I've completed a couple hundred assignments for this MSC over the past decade plus. I have found their schedulers and editors are responsive and let you know why they can't submit a report if something went awry. A couple of times at banks, things have not gone well and I was afraid I'd be outed if I submitted the necessary details, so I asked if I could reschedule and try again, and they have given me new due dates without question. Also, they consistently pay on time.
I've only done one with them. I won't deal with the primary bank they work with. I did a loan officer scenario, and the banker refused to talk to me unless I provided my Social Security number. I finally walked out when the loan officer wouldn't give me rates unless I gave up my social. I was so livid that I remembered why I stopped banking with that bank.
Did a credit card shop with them that paid $300. It got reviewed like 2 weeks later and I was on vacation so didn't check my email for a while. I missed one picture and my shop was marked incomplete. When I got back it was passed the time frame they had. Really bummed out. But overall good company. You essentially get more than double pay most times to churn credit cards and bank accounts with the offers the banks have themselves.
Did you ever have a bad experience with Ath Power? Are you still doing their shops??
Many yrs. ago, I completed a shop, but was denied payment. The stated reason being that their scheduler had erred concerning the requirement of opening an account. I responded that was none of my concern and that if I were not paid I would seek the assistance of my new bank, their client. I was quickly paid.

I have not done these shops so do not know the details of the assignment but yes, you are correct, with age comes wisdom and some of that wisdom includes the fact that many seniors become what they call snowbirds and live a half year in one place and a half year in another. Others decide to move from their larger house and place of many years of employment to a warmer location or a location near their children etc so they may be interested in checking out two states.. Origninal medicare is portable but the advantage plans are not.

Are the schedulers initials BH?
Does anyone know if a project manager there for the Merrill/BOA assignments? I’m having no luck communicating with the current scheduler.

I haven’t worked with them previously and decided to see if their assignments would be a good fit. Passed the required test and signed up for a simple intro (onsite) assignment to see how it would go.

It was assigned 2 days later with a specific target individual indicated and the only one day left to do it. The only possible availability was Saturday mornin and the Target was not available, and that was the only possible availability before the assignment was due.

I reached out to the scheduler later that Friday, and got an automated out of office reply, so emailed back and sent a message in the portal to cancel with the valid reasons noted.

I was booked the entire following week following and headed out the door Monday for a busy week ahead.

Scheduler returned to the office after the weekend, and re-scheduled without acknowledging my cancellation or checking to see if I was available.

I re-sent the cancellation email, politely confirmed I was unavailable for the week, looked forward to another time, and asked for a reply of acknowledgment.

Return reply was “thank you.”
I figured we were complete.

Not so. I’ve been getting daily email reminders about the reschedule, and forwarding directly to the scheduler’s direct email, repeating the same message of previous cancel, politely indicating I was not available and asking for acknowledgement …every day. Same “thank you” with nothing else as reply.

She never cancelled the reschedule. It’s due today and is still sitting in my queue in the portal despite several clear communications I would not be doing it.

I can’t find a way cancel it myself or I would have and it will expire undone, making me look like the bad guy.

Aside from serious illness or a death in the family I can’t fathom why it hasn’t been reassigned to someone who’s available. I’m frustrated and feel like I’m being played.

Update:
Relieved to have gotten affirmative clarity after 6 email exchanges before the weekend.
Maybe they were just being human and having a bad week.
Appreciate the good shares, thanks!
