I’ve had a lot of issues with GigSpot regarding due dates. The formatting isn’t intuitive and most of my shops are flagged as overdue when they’re not, which leads to functionality glitches.
Many are flagged overdue beginning 12:01AM on the assignment date instead of the actual due date, and thier system can’t seem to deal with additional follow up time many of my assignments require.
I’ve been back and forth with GS “support” and my schedulers who are also frustrated with the inflexible system. GS hasn’t provided any useful reply except to say they don’t have a fix.
This means good communication with your scheduler, who is responsible for your timing, and although it takes more time, it can be a good thing because some companies post the due date, others post the assigned date. GS seems to go with whatever’s entered without that distinction based on their internal programming. Different systems don’t always match up.
