Translated into common English: You are shucks out of luck, we'll do whatever we please and you will like it or else.
This thread neither mentions the name of the client nor the MSC, BUT, if Morled's paraphrasing is accurate, they may be employing the Arab:Camel business model. If so, shoppers are SOL.

Please elaborate on said business model.

Thanks

Mine were done on 7/16 and still show as completed. Very frustrating.

I did 2 delivery and 1 pick up. Still have not been accepted and done around 7/15. But 9 gas station shops are still being edited since then. Shortage of editors?
I just copied message form their CS. By the way I did one shop on the same project on 12/4/2024. I was accepted and paid on 12/05/2024!!!

Dan, the model is patterned after the parable of the Arab loading his camel. After finishing the day's labor, he noticed a single straw on the ground and immediately flipped it onto the animal's back; he/she collapsed. Thus, the adage of the straw that broke the camel's back was born.

In my 22+ yrs. shopping, in many cases, fees have decreased while inflation and work have been on the rise. An MSC then continues to pay less and less until work can no longer be assigned . Below is a classic example:

In 2007, I was paid $15+$5 to monitor college students appearing for work. That spring, I was paid en extra $5 IF I chose to snap an exterior pic. IF, as in it was optional. Today, I see shops requiring a dozen pics and paying zero for that compliance. In addition, any pic has the potential to render the job rejected.

From a business standpoint, I agree no company should pay an IC more than necessary for work. As contractors, shoppers are free to reject work where conditions do not meet their approval.
We aren't even talking about "ifs" here. We chose the work. We did the work. We deserve to get paid for said work.
we just shall avoid shops they posted on Sassie. My ratio Shopmetrics/Sassie with them so far 19/1.

There are multiple grocery shops depending on region. It seem the Norteast US one has taken a break.

When I lived in Dallas 10 years ago I kinda remember shopping one of the major chains there.

Sign up for all the MSCs and see if you find any.

And nobody will tell you about OK because you're their competitor for those shops.
the latest reply from them

"Thank you for reaching out. We apologize for the delay in your reports. Our teams are currently working through high volumes. We appreciate your patience and your shops will be reviewed as soon as possible.

It took 16 days, but my shop was finally approved tonight. Hopefully they'll get through the rest soon. At least Ipsos is prompt with payments, so I don't have to wait two months like with some other MSCs.

The question is, what would the payment schedule have been if it was approved on July 1st. I made a thread about that for another company. it was all on their site. As long as they pay when they say it is all good.

If a job being "received" is held back to push the payment date back that is a problem. I am not saying this company does that,

Once you are working on a regular basis, the payment date does not matter as long as you are paid when they say you will be paid.

I suspect that this is a cash flow issue. Other shops are being graded and paid that are not groceries. Also, it could be a problem with the client, however, they still need to grade the shops. But maybe if they grade the shops that puts them in a position to pay within a time frame that they cannot meet.
Good guess Reporter, once "received" you expect them to pay on their published payment schedule. As we all know, it runs down hill.
Well, they reviewed my first of 3, which was the order that was canceled by the store. They said it is excluded because I did not complete the survey. I'm shocked. I guess next time I will just place the order again like I thought about. SMH

I've had orders cancelled, usually with delivery shops..And yes, I just reordered as it still meets the requirements and deadline. I did have one time that I had to request to change my shop date because it was a pickup and they'd cancelled it too late for me to get another on the same day. Still was able to work that out.
I completed my shop on 7/15 and can confirm it has not changed from COMPLETE to RECEIVED.
mine still completted. I bet it will go to break 1 month mark.

I did 6 or 7 e-commerce with IPSOS back in July, most of them were graded within 10 days period, 2 were hanging for a bit and then 1 of the 2 changed from complete to receive last week and paid. one is still stuck at complete as of today
