MF counter offers

For the first time, for me anyway, MF is making counter offers in a green font to my high MAOs.

Still not where I want the offer to be, so I'm letting the shop sit there. I won't accept a shop for anything less than my prior highest fee. Not gonna do it.

I was surprised the counter offer was what it was for me today. i expected lower. I took it cuz $20 is an acceptable amount for a 5g shop. Maybe not for @maverick1 , but for the level of effort for something I enjoy, $20 is quite alright for me. Better than doing a sonic for $0 pay :-P Also better than a Panda Express for $7.50 or $8 pay.

Well, I walked away from the keyboard at $30. Have at it @hbbigdaddy. smiling smiley

Meanwhile I'm getting more TRH and another new local fast casual. Too much food! Once upon a time, there was a grocery store MS in my area. I miss the real food.

How do you make a counter offer with MF? I am only able to decline shops and provide the reasons, such as pay is too low. Do they contact you, or do you reach out to them with a counter?

You do NOT counter offer. You make a an offer. THEY might COUNTER OFFER if you are close in your offer.

i asked for more. They told me an amount and I can accept that or rebid.

If I rebid, it would have been lower than their offer. For me, i took the $20.

@maverick1 is greedier than me. I like the food and $20 payment is more than sufficient. Yes, I would like $25 or $30, but that rarely happens (for me).

Let's call it, "higher expectations," shall we? I don't NEED the shop at $20. I WANT the shop at the same fee I received previously.

I separate my WANTs and NEEDs differently than others.

@maverick1 fair enough....

i don't need the $20, and I don't need the 5g food, but i do WANT the food and if I can get $20 in addition, I want that too. Sure, I want more, but the want of $20 semi-regularly is better than the want of $30 very infrequently.

If I can do 3 per month ($60), that is better for me than doing 1 at $30 every couple of months.

BTW, yesterday I saw a vanity license plate that read, "BIGDADDY."
