Heads up, Ipshitz (on the Shopmetrics side) just dropped a ton of "you did your job, here's a reward/sorry, better luck next time" shops for the orange and white striped-roof burger chain...you know, the one that's open 24 hours, has a Dr. Pepper-flavored shake, and began in my great state of Texas!

Pay is $10, reimbursement up to $12. There are in-store and drive-thru scenarios, but you may as well get the in-store, because drive-thru requires you to go in anyway. I just picked up six of these.

Great food but Corpus Chisti Texas is where they started. No locations outside the southwest

Thanks for posting! I seldom look at Shopmetrics. I signed up for one but am unclear on what you do after you ask for the associate's name. Do you just write it on the certificate and then they give it to the store manager for a gift certificate?

I feel so let down..... I am registered with like 40 MSCs but only work actively for like 15 of them. I keep the other 25 because I say to myself...”Who Knows...they may start doing the orange and white places!!!! (insert restaurant name there)”.

Finally the WB is being shopped! And its a revealed shop...the pay is meh...the guidelines are longer than most college curriculms.

Maybe if the price rises....

There's a place in the shop form to add the employee's name. My guess is when the gift card is sent to the store, the employee's name is inside the envelope. I don't see where we need to talk to a manager; just pay attention to whether we see them and what they're doing.

Im headed south and return on Monday. I was able to pick up the location that we usually stop at (on our own dime). I rarely drink the types of drinks that are the center of this shop, so it'll be a little sweet treat.

Yes that's me-- I'm people. We always stop at that location when we travel. Why not get a reimbursed meal? The shopper pay covers my husbands meal. I'm not above it.

I don't eat there, so a reveal shop isn't a big deal. I hate their food. But my son will eat it. He'll probably like that sweet treat drink too, I suspect there are strawberries in it, so I won't even get close. Which is exactly why we are only doing one shop at each location. I'm only doing 3. The 40 year old bottomless pit gets fed, I don't have to pay for it. I'm good with stopping for 30 minutes for that. Then I can go to BWW and eat till my heart's content and not worry about him.

Thats why i4only print out handouts/leave behind info the day of the shop. If they fail, us it for the next location. I hope you didnt have all six the same day.

But apparently that's why their now being mystery shopped.

Yea Doggie, both of the stores I did today failed too. The first one the manager made a show of scolding the order taker, the second one, the order taker just shrugged. I think the first one was actually trying to do the right thing, but the employees aren't.

And I'm not sure I'll get paid for the first one, they didn't have the berry version of the drink, they only had a prickly pear flavor. I'd drink that one again, no problem. But the berry flavor seems good, until you drink it and find out that it's strawberry flavor with blueberry flavored bits floating in it. My son drank both..

LOL...its like I always said, there is easier money to be made. Jumping through all of those hoops and then doing the reveal? The black and white bear place pays just as well with the meager bonus without any of the hoops.

But yeah, you're right, I am about to head out to Cotulla again and am looking for packing peanuts along the way so I looked at Ipshitz....one yellow/red debrand shop within 90 miles; 68 orange and whites in the same radius.

The one I expected to get rejected did. But I still don't understand how a customer is supposed to know about an item that isn't advertised and isn't on the menu board to order, and the order taker doesn't suggest it when you ask about the drink that is shown on the menu board. Oh well.. my son got fed, it's not all bad.

I was wondering about that. I have one today to try. Bringing a family member that likes their food so I can at least treat them, if it does not work out due to that drink.

All of mine were approved and have already been paid. It may have only been $10 each, but I'm not going to complain when something's put on the fast track. Can't say that about the 15 gas station shops that have been sitting there for weeks.
