"POCKET SHOP"?

I noticed that ACL has the title "POCKET SHOP" listed next to several
of it's shops.

Don't think I've seen that before.

Does anyone know what a POCKET SHOP is?

seems humorous.

It seems like they sent out a message at one point explaining that a pocked shop was a shop with a shortened report that involved very little narrative. I think its a term that they just came up with to make the shopper feel like less work is involved since there is zero shopper pay. If their shops are considered "pocket" shops, then TXR shops are the teeny tiny pocket that are on the side of bluejeans.
They put it on a standard dining shop here. You know, the kind where you have to photograph all the food and beverages before bites/sips, take exact timings for everything, explain all "no" answers as well as writing LOTS of narrative about the things that were correct so they can tell you knew to look... I believe it's just another way of promoting shops as "quick and easy!" and it is absolutely meaningless.
If you can see the guedlines you see also the form attached to it. The difference is very slight between the pocket shop and regular.

I did not see much of a difference between the two sets of guidelines. I signed up for three of the new ones, so I guess I will find out soon.
The pocket shops have fewer required photos.

Did they get rid of their Fotopay app? I tried to open it the other day and kept getting errors. Maybe they're abandoning that and going with shorter shops?
I don't do a ton with them anymore so I may have missed any notifications or updates.
They said they were taking a pause on the Fotopay. I think they will eventually bring it back, but not sure when.
I did my dining shop with the new "pocket" designation. The form was different. Rather than entering times and elapsed times into little fields, there was a single narrative box to enter food timings. Rather than entering the photos into specific questions, you load all the photos into one area and add labels to them. There was NO change to the expectations, amount of narrative required, nor number of photos required. The form was slightly easier to use but it is also easier to forget to attach a required photo.

In short, no, they didn't make the report much quicker nor easier, they just made it a bit less cumbersome if you have done this shop before and understand what is required AND they added some flexibility by making timing answers narrative rather than fields.
I thought it was an abbreviation for “out of pocket” (grin)

Actually, mine required at least one guest but had a budget that was nearly enough for four people to have full meals, beverages, and an app for the table. I went into my pocket for the tip but the reimbursement is better than average on that one, a couple could order just about anything on the menu and it would be covered.
There appear to be different shops thst are being labeled "pocket shops". I did 2 this week at the often mentioned sub store.

I've done MANY dining shops for ACL that covered the required purchases, no out of pocket needed. I also didn't order the cheapest item on the menu.
