Compensation: $19 + $30 PAD

What does PAD stand for. I see this on an offering from The Source. I have never worked for them before so I’m not clear what this means.

Does the shop have a mandatory purchase? Maybe it's a reimbursement
It is extra with them not reimbursement, unless they changed the way they do stuff. It is like a bonus on Sassie shops,
It's extra pay for travel or difficulty. Or when they are desperate to get a job done. BUT, even when they send an email offering PAD, you still have to request it and justify it.
another term for PAD is Poor And Dumb.... :-P

I think I have done 1 or 2 shops for them in 20+ years of shopping. They are definitely not "the source" for my shopping interests.
They used to have a fair amount of stuff in my area but no more. I always had to beat them up, so if stuff would fit in my route and they paid I would do it.
Instead of paying $19 they are paying $49 for this assignment. You have to request the job and state there WILL be pad. This company may bot be the quickest to pay but they are honest and fair.

Extra money...the catch is you're not supposed to claim a milage deduction if you take it but good luck sorting things out. Pretty sure that verbiage is just them covering their butts.
They pay every Wednesday.

I think it is Paid Additional Distance that you can sometimes negotiate with the MSC
I seem to remember "Pre Authorized Distance" pay.
I thought it was pre approved distance, same sentiment as what Sestrahelena posted
My area rarely offers PAD and it probably would not be enough anyway to justify (yet another) required app and learn to navigate it. It's been years since I've worked with them.
What shops are you currently with? I'm registered with Ipsos, Intellishop and RBG. I need more. Thanks!

Me too. Every now and then something pops up paying nothing. Always their MO. I remember the app being very straight forward though. I am quite sure I liked it.
Another word for bonus. But also take morledzep's advice and make sure to request it if taking the shop.

There is a list below of MSCs. Many of us are registered with most of them. That's where you find the "more" that you "need." It's right there, as it has been all along, just scroll down.
