My bad: I meant that I routinely do not see all listings in my defined ZIP radius with ShopMetrics (not PROPHET) -- so I resort to taking out the ZIP and distance information and searching only with my state in the filter.

They are easing out Prophet for ShopMetrics. I asked as my pay is shown pending for two shops I did in June 2010, and was told since Prophet will no longer be, this is to avoid paying twice. I don't see Prophet at all, so, confused why so many talk about Prophet here.

Now getting About Face emails daily along with the new MSForum scheduling Co....thought it a good idea for them to list shops, but, not so sure about this, as more of the same emails.

I haven't done an AF shop on the Prophet site for a year or so. My log-in is still active, though I don't get notifications of work for that site. On ShopMetrics, shops that I did whose accounts transferred from Prophet show as "On Hold", although I have been paid for them.

Irene, I'm unsure of your reference to "MSForum scheduling Co."

I got banned recently from AboutFace. I did one of the cable shops( Hermitage, Pa). They advised me that the agent "Karen" was not present so the client would not accept the shop. I told them that after shopping fro them for five years I have no reason to make up a name. I showed them my receipt proving I was there. They responded with "Ok, we will pay you", however, I have not been able to log on since and they do not respond. So apparently , they still think I was lying about the shop.

I am at <cable company> every month paying my bill so I have been a good shopper and could continue to be so.

As for my "revealing" the client. Kiss my backside AboutFace, agreements are for your shoppers. I obviously no longer one.

Moderator note: Whether you are or aren't a currently register shopper with AboutFace, it's still a rule (one of very few, by the way) of this forum to not reveal MSC's clients. Besides, your point was made just fine without doing so.

There are several presentation shops in my area for AboutFace. Pay $20 for attending a one-hour presentation, then filling out the report.

Has anyone done any of these types of shops for them? Seems like a pretty low fee for the amount of time involved, but maybe the reports are easy and fast? If so, I'd probably try one, since the presentation locations are pretty close to me.

The amount of detail they want seems excruciating for the pay, though....

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
