Mystery Shopper Services, late payment

The agreement is payment within 45 days after approval and they're 8 days late so far. They aren't normally late and they usually pay within a day or two of 45. What is concerning is that I sent an email Saturday but they haven't responded. Anyone else waiting? It's approved and pending payment in ISS, no signs of anything amiss.

The contact for payment issues still hasn't responded. I've contacted the scheduler as well in case their listed contact is outdated information. I can see that person is still actively posting jobs. They post on these boards.
I finally got a response but it's just "the next PayPal run is Friday." That's not an explanation nor a promise. And, it took complaining to two other people to get a response at all. Frustrating and concerning.
It took me months to get paid by them and multiple emails. It was reimbursement for an $15 meal. Such a waste of time.

I feel like there should be a penalty assessed for late payments. There are no repercussions other than their reputation being tarnished with affected shoppers.

I shared in case people search the name before working with them. Their name is just a sequence of commonly used words which makes it harder to search effectively but what else is there? I should mention that they are also known as Business Evaluation Services, that's what their logo says.

I suppose I could formally complain to MSPA about them breaching contract. There is ample evidence to make my case. But mostly I want them to see that I am not a good target if you are looking for someone who won't notice if you "forget" to pay. I will not sit quietly and wait.
Paid today, day 56 (of 45). Someone else told me privately that they were over 60 days, they also got paid today.
