Ipsos editor hack

The conditions have to be right for it to work but here goes:

I was doing a route of relatively quick shops for the blob on the sneering squirrel site and they were being edited immediately. My shops were coming back for stupid, needless BS, all from the same editor. After it happened on 3 shops, and I had many more to go, I simply stopped submitting them. After about 6 hours, I submitted everything, got a different editor and no more stupid returns!

Have you ever thought that it might be because the first editor might be making you fix it so that you learn from your mistakes, while the second editor is just making the fixes? At the end of the day, they will reach the same conclusion. It is often more work than it's worth to some editors to just make the corrections, while other editors will send shops back to make you correct them. It is your shop; you should be responsible for making the corrections.

Might be. Might also be an editor is not familar with the shop requirements. Might be an editor is not happy with the guidelines as written and is adding additional requirements not in the contract. All of these things happen. Without more details, we just don't know what was happening in this case, and cannot jump to conclusions.

The editors…
I’ve always had a 10/10 rating. A single (new) editor seems to love me enough to downgrade me to a 4 and 7 of 10 for shops I’ve done at 10/10 multiple times.
I protested citing my consistent quality. Answer: it doesn’t effect your pay.

No, but what would it matter? I have been an editor for three different companies. I am just pointing out why they may have been returned. When I edited, I would send shops back sometimes for minor fixes. It teaches the shopper how to do it correctly. You would be very surprised.

LOL! Something doesn't add up. Sure, It doesn't AFFECT your pay. And Shirley, the editors should know effect/affect.

I learned that the photos of front and back of the card used need to be uploaded in a specific order. No other editor has decided that in hundreds I've done over the years.

There is always one that has their own set of special guidelines. I submit as late as possible, prior to the deadline, unless doing a Presto shop, and avoid them. Similar to the advice of @sestrahelena.

I have had this lately with a few other MSC’s. They sent it back, and I send it back as is and let them know it’s correct.
