Coyle Payout for April Jobs

Hi,

I worked for Coyle for the first time back in April. According to their terms, payment is issued during the last week of the following month. However, I haven't received anything yet. The Coyle invoices for both jobs are properly filed in Shopmetrics, and they also have my PayPal address. Is anyone else here still waiting for their April payment?

My April payouts were all sent over the weekend. If you don't get them today I'd reach out to the accounting email. That department is usually quite responsive and helpful.
Look at the invoices under "payments and fees".

Yes. -> "The Coyle invoices for both jobs are properly filed in Shopmetrics, and they also have my PayPal address"
Occasionally, I have seen shops on the last couple days of the month get thrown over into the next month's payout.
I did my first 10/10 job to establish myself. It took 3 months to get paid.
I’ve “bid” on others based on the daily email notifications at the same rate I was paid (I’m prequalified for), and been ignored.
This is a business. I’m less inclined to spend my time on companies that don’t reply, want me to work for less than before, and take months to pay and reimburse hundreds in expenses while I carry their debt, when there are others that communicate well and pay before interest charges are added for my required services.

My compliments to SBP for his/her post; it hits the "nail on the head." It is both concise and logical.
Basically, I feel exactly the same way you do. I think it comes down to the bidding system, which is very unusual for me as a European. There’s always someone who is perfectly happy to have a lavish dinner or stay in a hotel for free without actually getting paid for the work. That’s how Coyle attracts a lot of one-off testers while alienating the professionals who won't work for free and expect fair compensation.

But actually, that wasn't the topic of this thread.
The issue was that I still haven't received payment for my April jobs. I’ve since discovered that if you use PayPal with a primary currency other than USD, you have to add USD to your wallet first in order to receive USD. I stumbled upon this by accident. I really would have expected Coyle to point this out to new shoppers from abroad instead of just letting them walk right into a trap. I’ve informed Coyle about the situation; let's see when they make another attempt to pay.
