No, they are posted in waves. The new wave has not been released yet. I can see a few from last month are being revisited (or shoppers bailed). Just like many of their other clients, the shops show up all of a sudden sometime during the month. Only one client there is always posted a month plus ahead of time.

My posts are solely based on my opinions and for my entertainment, contact a professional if you need real advice.

I was wondering the same thing. I have done these shops every month for over a year and now all of a sudden there's none, even within 200 miles of my house? Weird. I was thinking I did something wrong--although I have never had a shop invalidated.
I don't think you will see them again.

Through the first 9 months of the year I did 13 McDonald's shops for $703 in fees. That's an average of 1.44 shops and $78 per month. That's not a huge percentage of my work but I don't understand how the program going away is doing me a favor. I would love for you to explain it to me because apparently you're smarter than I.

I've got one Saturday AM. Still showing up on my job lists for the same MSC that has had them in the past. Even got a call from a scheduler tonight for one that always shows up as being in my mileage radius, but is in actuallity about 85 miles away!

Last month they were posted, pulled, and reposted late due to the major menu change. I believe the main group end around the 15th, not the end of the month this time around. There are some loeft on the board in my area from the ones that started in October. The shops that start on the 16th, if my guess is correct, should be showing up soon.
If my guess is correct they will not be showing back up.

I was stunned to see a bank shop posted in October. I've never ever seen them post a bank shop before.
This is a reliable, easy shop with reasonable pay. Losing it would in no way be a plus.

No fee, no shop.
I have heard from a rep from MSC that this is the last month for McDonalds shops in US and Canada. I don't know if they are changing companies or stopping mystery shopping all together.

Holy smokes. Those are some nice bonuses there. I can't even get that fee at an airport location in CA.

If they are changing companies then either they lied to the msc or the msc lied to the employees they laid off two weeks ago.

I have a few coming up this month. So you guys think after November, no more MCD's?

The program is dead for now m

mine went off the board too about a week ago but I thought it was because I assigned myself too many in a month(think i had 8). they went off the board the second after i picked one up so i figured that was why. would hate to lose those, though my health wouldn't.

Sounds like you need to hone your negotiation skills! winking smiley

That would have been significantly higher but I will actually eat their breakfast and close to half of those were $30 breakfast shops.

There's nothing to negotiate. At least 75% get picked up at base rate here in the first 24 hours. I haven't done one in ages.
Wow is right. The best that I ever negotiated was $20 and that was on a Saturday night with me whining that my girlfriend was hoping for me to take her out to dinner, not wait in the car while I ate crappy fast food.
I've been doing several of the $35 ones last weekend and this week (have one more to go). I don't usually touch these until they get to at least $20. I didn't know about it being the last month for the program, though! Although they aren't normally a very large part of my income either (and some months I don't do any), they are easy IMO, and I'm sure there are some shoppers who do a lot of them for that reason. So far I still see one more on the board that's about 100 miles from me, and I think I saw some farther from me in south Georgia last night too. I know the MSC has a lot of other clients, but it seems like this was still a huge client that will probably affect them quite a bit too. I don't really see the loss of the program as a good thing for anyone involved either, whether shoppers, schedulers, or the MSC. Or McDonald's, for that matter, since they're losing their best feedback avenue.

Happily shopping the Pacific Northwest. Shopping since 2013 smiling smiley
Someone in my area snatches most of them up at base pay every month. I have rarely seen one with a bonus, and then it is really a small amount.
I wonder if the client may be needing to re-calibrate everything due to the "All Day Breakfast" surge. Although I do not do the client as a shopper, I have been getting some breakfasts during what used to be non-breakfast hours. This has often entailed having to wait for hash browns to be cooked and brought to the table, or for a long, unexplained wait (probably for the hash browns) at the counter. I suspect that this throws off other timings enough to bring the whole show just enough out of compliance with the client's strict timing guidelines to have caused a need yo redesign and/or rethink the standards. Just sort of noodling through what might cause a re-boot of the program.

BTW, if you order the sausage and egg biscuit and ask for bacon to be substituted after "breakfast hours" you are very likely to just get bacon added to a sausage biscuit, in my experience. Talk about a sodium bomb. that is it!

I did a dinner shop, and the customer ahead of me ordered from the breakfast menu. First, it took a while for the customer to understand the menu, then the cashier had to pour the coffee, and then the line employee cooked the breakfast item before making my simple order. It threw the timings way off. I think this does affect the standards, and may be part of the reason for no more mystery shops, if that is indeed the case. But I was led to believe it was more of a cost-cutting measure in a period of lower sales.

"McDonald's is trying to revive business following seven straight quarters of same-store sales declines in the US."

Investors don't care where the cuts are applied, so long as their profits keep coming in. IMO, MS'ing will likely be thrown overboard to lighten the troubled Mickey-D ship.
