Anyone done work for Technology Store Shopper?

I have worked for and like TSS, however, I will not do this particular shop. The instructions say that they will pay $7.00 if no rep is available. It is not worth my time to take a chance for $7.00.

I just did a shop for TSS. It was the one about the phones where if the rep doesn't show they pay you $7. The store was down the street and I go there often anyway so it wasn't a big risk if the rep flaked. But the point is, they do pay even if the rep flakes. So I am not sure why they didn't pay you.

As it happened, the rep did not flake and I had one of the best shops I have had in a long time. It was a pleasure to write up the narrative.

Re Proof of Visit, you don't actually have to buy something. You have four options: 1.) Take a picture of a receipt. 2.) Take a time-stamped photo of the front of the store. 3.) Take a picture of the Table/Display area if available. 4.) Take a photo of the reps' business card.

In my case, the rep was all out of business cards so she wrote her name, number, and some other stuff on a piece of notebook paper and TSS took that just fine.

I really liked TSS a lot. I ran into a technical issue with uploading the report and I got a return phone call. We sorted it out on the spot and they reviewed my write up 30 minutes later.

They rank right up at the top with STN as far as I am concerned.

I don't have time stamp function on my camera. There was no display table. I could not get a business card, I even asked the electronic department if they had one. My only option at that point was to buy something. I bought some clearance Christmas items for next year- that shows how long ago this shop was.

I don't know why I wasn't paid yet either- it just says "pending". I did everything on my end.

I'm allowed to vent. I may contact them about it, and hopefully I get a response and payment. I did a shop 2 days later and the rep did not flake and I was paid. It just seems like a lot of work to get $7!
If it shows pending then I would contact them. Maybe it just got overlooked. They seem to be very reasonable folks.
I did contact them, and I wish I could say they were reasonable. It was an error on their behalf. The person who emailed me back was quite rude, however, quite a few times. they tried to blame me then finally said it was an error. This is the first company I deactivated myself from. I'm glad you had a better experience.
