Post Office Merchandiser

Just learned today the hire out merchandisers for the greeting cards. I do not want the job but find it interesting with the trouble the PO is in that they would spend money on something they could do in house.

Sometimes it really is cheaper to contract out work than take employees away from their duties.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

or it could be a union thing too? WELL THAT ISN'T IN OUR CONTRACT SCOPE IM NOT DOING THAT NOPE NOT AT ALL.
That implies that people in unions are stupid enough to cut off their own noses.

Have any of you recently been to a post office? The lines are long, so, they may not have the personnel to do the greeting cards. Furthermore, I really haven't seen a whole lot of greeting cards in the P.O. and I'm not even going to get into the reason why the P.O. is in financial difficulties but it has nothing to do with the union or with the income they bring in.
I was in a PO in a small town that had a huge display of greeting cards. I had never seen such a thing in a PO before. Was surprised to see it in a PO across the street from a strip mall with a grocery store with a full card display. But I guess it's a natural, if you're in a hurry to mail out a card you can get the card, buy the stamp, and mail it in one stop.

New to this whole world of mystery shopping. Could someone please help me. I got a check in the mail from Benmark Consumer for $1,745.56 they want me to cash the check and evaluate western union. I have read about some scams dealing with checks and western union. Any input. my gut say NO
Trust your Gut!!
Bring the check and any correspondence youv'e gotten to your local authorities, they'll likely refer you to others, as well.
Robin, that check is no good and if you deposit it and use the funds you will have to pay back the money to your bank. Reputable mystery shopping companies will not pay you in advance. The average job will pay from $8.00 to $20.00, and will only pay after you have performed the job and your report has been submitted and accepted. For information on mystery shopping, read all the sticky posts at the top of the New Mystery Shoppers section.
