IWS merchandising at TA stores

Just took a shop for International Wholesale Supply restocking items at Travel America. Not totally sure this is worth the pay I'm getting, so looking for some insight on how labor intensive they are. I already have to drive a bit out of the way for it.

I took one when it was highly bonused when the scheduler contacted me. It had to be completed within two days, which was a holiday weekend. I drive a two and a half hour round trip. When I get there, I wasn't able to do the job because the people that needed to be there was not there. So, I left the authorization. Did everything right on my end. Filled out the report. Received a 10/10, yet they cut the amount in half when they paid me. I don't plan to do it again.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

I did one of these (bonused to $50) when my normal merchandising job took me to the immediate area. Wound up being much less labor than anticipated. I did get a lot of questions I didn't know the answers to about how often reps would be coming back to the store, but other than that no issues.

Re: pay cut in half -- that's the first time I've heard of the company in question doing this. I can see why you would not take future assignments if that's what happened to you.

@ArkLaMissshopping oh no! That sucks. That looks really bad on the MSC.

I agree with @DrSquash. I took the shop because it was semi-convenient (out of the way but was able to take care of other stuff in the area). I thought it would be a lot of work but it was very simple and straightforward. I did the whole shop and submitted the survey in under 30 minutes. I'm sure other locations might take longer, but I will definitely consider doing them again!
