How does ATH Power pay?

It has been a long time, since I have done any shops for this company. I know they pay timely, but I can't seem to find out which method they use. Do they pay by check or paypal or direct deposit? There isn't anything on my profile page to indicate an email address for paypal. Thanks for any help.

Unless it's changed in the last few months, they pay by check.
yeah on second thought it is a check. It takes a while, but I think because they are bank related they are ok paying, just a long time.
And watch for the check it looks like a bill or junk but it is a check. Super super s l o w.

Yep. They will have asked you to reshop that same bank or pet store 5 times before you see your check smiling smiley

how slow? more than two or three months?
Three is more like it. It will say paid long before you get it. They write them but do not mail quickly. But they do pay.
Not sure how I've been doing it, but I get my payments from ATH via direct deposit. All of my payments since last July have been DD.

Yes, their payment terms are slow (10th of the 2nd month following your shop), but I've never had an issue receiving payment from them at all.

Thanks Lisa and everyone else. I appreciate the help.
I just read their policy myself and this really stood out at the end,

"Please note that all shopper checks are voided after 90 days and ath Power Consulting will not be liable for any bank fees associated with attempting to cash/deposit checks after 90 days. Once checks are voided payment cannot be reissued. It is the shopper's responsibility to cash/deposit checks within the 90 day timeframe."

Is that even legal to say a check won't be reissued. It's not some type of rebate, it's payment for service rendered.

Don't you love how some MSCs behave as though we're only doing their assignments because we love them and they are indeed doing us a favor if they end up paying us for the jobs that we've successfully completed for them.
Interesting, I never noticed that before, and wonder if that clause is relatively recent. Sometime last year, I came across an ATH check I hadn't cashed. I contacted the company, and they sent me a replacement.

paypal would be so much easier.
nicelytwicely, it certainly could be a hollow threat used to keep people from being careless.

vince, Amen to that brother! And direct deposit is even bettersmiling smiley I worked for a company who transitioned all employee and vendor payments over to ACH and wire transfer because of the speed, ease and reduction in fraud. The payments would get to us faster and they would also leave the company's coffers faster. Come on, 10 days to sign a check, put it in an envelope and throw a stamp on it? Puhlease!

They use to pay by check, but now they do direct deposit, and it is usually around the 10th of the month. They pay 60 days out, if you do something in January you get paid in March. I do a lot of work for them and generally do not have any problems.
I just did a job and a survey in December and I just got paid today by check. Looks like it was less than two months. Not that bad speed wise.

They send a check
I emailed and they confirmed NO direct deposit so not sure how someone is getting it from them.
Someone PM me the website address for ATH, please. I have several I've kept but not a one works any more. At least if I have the right one, I can have them send me a new password.

I did shops for them in December and got a check yesterday. Hmmm long time to wait and when I emailed thd scheduler I got no reply.
Not sure how you get direct deposit. They stand firm in denying it. Does it come faster than 60-90 days?
Just got my check. I work for them it was like a late Dec shop. They make that clear. Personaly I like sometimes to get a nice little present in my mailbox.
My theory about long payins MSCs is, that as long as they are clear about their pay schedule , I do not care. I am going to need the cash then anyway. Unless you have to lay a lot out beforehand And then even I do it if I have the cash on hand as it is kind a little savings account since the banks are not paying anything anyway.

No, it's usually between the 5th and 10th of each month, but there's still the month delay (i.e. January shops getting paid in March, etc.).
they pay by check. When the check comes it does not look like a check and I cant remember exactly what it looks like but check your mail thoroughly!
