Have you ever saw the true "effects" of your shopping?

Yes, no and maybe.

I have seen a completely awful performance morph into a very good one after three straight months of going to the same location. I saw significant improvements and new personnel.

In another instance for the same client at a different location, I have been reporting the same lights out for about two years in multiple reports with no change.

In another instance I reported a terrible bathroom - graffiti, nasty smell, unwashed floor, broken fixtures, etc.. in a locked bathroom. The report asked my likelihood to return to that location. I selected "never again."

More than 18 months later, I have not gone back. Talk about suggestive questions. smiling smiley

I have shopped several times where the carhop had a earful of rings. I noted this on the paperwork. The next time I shopped and they were my carhop again, one earring only. I think this looks better!smiling smiley
I prefer lots of earrings. Perhaps I'll start mentioning when someone I shop only has one. Or maybe if I don't like the color they are wearing, I'll be sure to mention it.
Don't forget the color of their nail polish and hair.

I did an Arby's shop, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee every month for the summer a few years ago and saw improvements every time I went back. From 'nasty' restrooms, burnt out dining room bulbs, kitchen and dining room ceiling tiles replaced, booth tables' undersides cleaned and A/C vents cleaned/repainted, each shop got easier when the management tackled the list of "NO" items !!
Yeah, hate that question. In uniform, is the uniform clean, etc., is hunky dory, otherwise their appearance is none of my business. Tattoos are just fine and unless their earrings fall in my food, they can have as many as will fit on their ear.

I saw a change in the restaurant adding a free dessert for kids after purchasing 10 lunches, which I kept suggesting.
This was a few years ago, and they have improved and continued the program.

Live consciously....
I had a bank employee cut through a line of queuing customers without so much as an excuse me, so lacking in basic manners. I reported back and a question covering that appeared on the report form a month or two later.

Wow. Just, wow!

Way back in the 80's, I worked for a detective agency which contracted with the BK'S. As the months went by, I watched a young, mother-to-be, literally grow out of her uniform. Her button's were spread wide open on her shirt and you could see her bra.

In my report, I inquired why they don't provide uniforms for the pregnant females. Less than a month later, my eyes popped wide open and in sheer delight, I saw her comfortably working the drive thru, in her new uniform. smiling smiley
I regularly did a party supply store in my area. Most of the reports were positive, but when the baseboard separated from the wall in the bathroom, it was fixed on my next visit. Ditto for supplies, obstructed aisles and employees who didn't know anything about special orders. I did notice that a manager usually approached and assisted me during my last few shops. Hmmmm....(I quit doing them because they were so BO-O-Oring!)
