Please tell me about these “Simple email/telephone shops”

Does anyone here do them?

This is pretty much all the message says about the shop itself:

Requirements for this shop:
• Shoppers will email the school through the Contact Us page of the school’s website
• Shoppers will ignore the first two calls from the school
• Shoppers must answer the phone on the third call and conduct the scenario (details will be provided in the guidelines).

*** The email must be sent on the date that you picked to conduct the shop ***

Do they want you to sit by the phone, and couldn’t this take all day or more?

I did this shop, and discussed that very thing with my scheduler prior to accepting it. I recall being allowed to return the call, if messages were left. Contact your scheduler and ask the question yourself, though. It's always a good idea to have the information in a written e-mail, in case it's questioned later.
That's just weird. I guess they are testing to see if the school persists in following up with the inquiry. But how are you going to know it's the school calling? They could be calling from any number.

Unless it pays a lot and you have nothing else to do that day, I'd go find a shop that makes more sense.

I pray it does not occur that the last thing I did before I died was vacuum the house or eat broccoli.
Just read Kat's answer. That makes more sense, that you wait until the third message was left and then return the call.

Thank you, Kat and Secret.

I don't know if I'll take it or not. Iv'e seen some doubtful commments about this company.

The first call will happen withing 5 minutes of you hitting the enter key.

The problem with this shop will be getting them to stop calling you.
Good point. Might be best to get a Google Voice number for these. After the job is over you can block them.
