Just did my first one. There were three in my area, all of which I applied for, but was only assigned the one.
The audit itself is easy as all get-out. Mine was in a Best Buy, and the store does not have ONE. SINGLE. BUSINESS. CARD!!!!!
The audit part was over in less than 10 minutes. It took 20 more trying to find a business card. I even came up with brief simple scenarios at the Geek Squad desk, the computer desk, and the appliance desk so that I could ask for a business card. I was told they didn't have any. I just got handwritten names/phone numbers on scraps of paper. The guidelines say you can use a brochure from the store (preferably the Comcast one) that has that location's address on it. Not a single brochure, or anything else that's available for customers to take, throughout the entire store, had this specific location's address on it. I checked. I was getting so aggravated, and was getting late for somewhere else I had to be, that I made a small purchase. As most of you are aware, the cheapest thing to be had is a candy bar for $1.19.
I was NOT happy spending that much extra time in the store, and especially NOT happy making a purchase to get something that would have the store's address on it. And then the receipt DOESN'T HAVE THE STREET ADDRESS ON IT!!! Only the store number and city/state/zip. Even the phone number is an 888 number ~ not one to this specific store.
I sent a note to the scheduler to let them know all of this. As an aside, I used no all-caps type, and remained perfectly calm and reasonable. I only vented a little bit here. Heh.
One of the locations I'd applied for was a Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if they have business cards there, either. The other was for an independent appliance store -- now *there* I'm almost positive they would have business cards.
