Is there a difference between a regular cell phone shop and a competitor one?

There is some talk on here about the “Easy” cell shops being a false ad. The same company has a competitor shop up for “Grabs” in my area. It’s for a store about a block from their usual one.

The e-mail says they have “super easy cell phone store shops – no narrative!” When I click a link for more info, the report is said to be “easy mostly yes/no and multiple choice questions.”

Could it be that the competitor shops actually are easy?

really depends on the msc. I do cell phone shops for one company all the time because there is no narrative both on their regular and competitor. Couple fill in the blank questions, but that is it

There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots

In my experience, competitor cell phone shops have the same format, questions, and narratives as cell phone shops at a client's locations. In other words, competitor cell phone shops are not easier or more fun than regular cell phone shops for the client.
I have had the same experience as BusyBee with cell phone shops. I usually don't take them unless they are $20.00 or more.
What BusyBee said.

But the "no narrative" part is a big fat lie. I've done these.

There are several questions where it says "If you checked no, explain"... or, "If you checked yes, explain". To me that is narrative. Perhaps minimal narrative, but it is narrative. And even though the answers don't have to be long, typing 20 short answers is NOT "no narrative" to me. "No narrative" means I'm only doing clicking. smiling smiley

That's kind of what I thought. I haven't done any of their shops yet. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Thanks, all.

Sometimes the competitors can be slightly more complicated because you have to explain no answers that occur because the competitor does not have the same procedures and protocols. I love questions like, "Did they answer the phone by saying 'hello, thank you for calling XYZ company'" and the answer is no because you had me call ABC company or did they mention a certain plan or promotion that the competitor obviously doesn't carry.
