I do NOT like the new system. Apparently, I can't do XYZ Shop because I already did one, but yet, it keeps popping back up (tried 4 times) saying it was not available to me.

The whole thing is a pain in my a**...

You always get afraid when something that don't need fixing is going to get fixed. Concrapulations Market force on screwing this up.

Yes--a job I have done for them quite often appears to no longer be available to me. What's up with that?

Life seems to be full of computer "enhancements" that make everything harder. Just looked at the new and improved MF and I agree with all of you.

Check your "Get paperwork"site. I receive the message "the job is not available to you" also. Checked back later and had a couple of shops in my "in" box.

so don't count yourself out yet.

Aack, WHY did they change it?

And when each page loads (which still takes forever) you have to scroll back up to the top...PITA...I liked it the old way.

What is up with the "new and improved" job search?? I have very few jobs on my board and when I apply for one I get the message that this shop is no longer available to me. I already said Good-bye to BestMark - I guess Marketfarce is next.

I like the new MF job search function. I think when we get used to it, we'll find it faster in searching for specific assignments. I say change is constant, so make the most of it.

No fee, no shop.

Hi, kanimozhi2, welcome to the forum. Try posting down in the Merchandising area. I do not do merchandising and although some mystery shoppers also merchandise, I think most do not. So you may get a better answer by posting among the merchandising posts.

I don't like that after you look at a job and want to go back and look for more, it has to re-do the search. What a time waster. I like that there are now search criteria we can use but we should be able to come out of looking inside a job without it re-doing the search.

Search on airports doesn't work yet, you still have to go into the old link. Would be nice to be able to search those by airport. Sometimes you have to scroll through hundreds of jobs trying to find one for the airport you're flying out of. Not only can't search on airport you can't sort by airport either.

I've always used the Zip Code search. Get the Zip of the airport and put in a radius of 5 miles.
I never used their 'Airport Shops' link as it was way way to slow. I've got 4 major airports within my reach so I just used the Zip code function anyway.

I don't have to much problem with it. The list of shops in my immediate area still come up automatically and since I live in a 90 mile radius of mega cities I always used the Zip code search anyway.

I liked it. With the old search I would get tons of jobs that I was not interested in. Now I can simply opt them out

I agree. I like the new search also. The old one forced me to go through a lot of airport and toll road shops that are not near me.

Eh, I don't mind the new search. I still just pick "all" within a certain distance. I'm just glad its not showing me a crap ton of airport shops that are 4 hours away anymore. Have no clue why I was seeing those before, but not certain shops that were nearby.

I went in and got rid of the shops that I don't want through Search...

I was surprised to see there were not many shops in my area after checking a few times. DUH! I did not notice the Previous & Next at the bottome =O

Ahaha... I did the exact same thing!

I don't know what problems folks are having. I just went there because of your comments (I was scared because I have a shop with them today). Everything seems to behave just fine. And, I think it's easier to find stuff. But, I can see where you would miss the "next" and "previous" buttons.

I actually like having the search parameters on the first page and being able to filter by the date and type of shop. Since they are just fillers to me, seeing shops with dates four to six weeks out is a PITA and now I don't have to see all those FF shops that are of no interest.

I guess what I was missing was that the airport shops were ALSO coming up on the main search list. I thought they were all behind that second, un-searchable, un-sortable link. I'll try searching on the zip for the airport from now on. Didn't even think about that once I saw there was a special place for the airport shops.

I could get rid of the airport and gas station shops before by just declining them - I would choose the "decline for now" option just in case I ever wanted to do a shop. I also had my parameters set to 50 miles so I never saw shops 4 hours away. So why are you all saying you like the new system because you can filter shops? The old system had filters, too.

I hate that when I hit the back key, it takes me back to the top of the page - it used to take you back to where you were before. And if you change it from 10 shops per page to 100 shops per page, and then go back - you have to reselect the 100 shops per page. A real PITA, especially when I am searching on my phone.

NOTE: I'm not on the forum every day. If someone comments on my post, I might not reply right away. I've been a shopper since 1991. I've never done any work for a MS company in any other capacity.

I used the decline feature. My issue was having to decline all shops for a phase since I am never adverse to doing almost any shop for the right bonus. Except for Ikea of course

Yeah, that. The new search gets rid of tons of shops that are too far away from me that I don't deal with now.

I think my settings are staying saved, too, since all I have are food shops near me.

OTOH, I still get an occasion premium fee offer for a 'hog shop just way too far away from me.
