Update: It has been reported that the rep gave me a bum steer about this and that the system is requiring an answer to the sub questions even if the answer is "yes." So it's possible it simply doesn't MATTER what you answer to the subs if it is a YES, but apparently it is requiring it. The question came up in the context of my thinking I had answered a sub-question incorrectly. He may have thought it didn't matter if there was an answer, when what was correct was that it didn't matter what the answer was, unless the main question was a NO.
My apologies for passing on his incorrect information.

I had occasion to talk to a Maritz rep the other day about some of the bank questions they have added to the reports.
They have added some "are you sure?" clarification questions to both of the shops. If you answer Yes, the banker did do this or did give you that, you don't need to answer the clarification questions. Those are confirmation questions to be sure you didn't mark NO by mistake. So if you marked No, then one or more of the sub questions should have a No.
If a question is #3 and there is a 3a, 3b, 3c etc under it, if you answered Yes to 3, the system will ignore 3a, 3b, and 3c. You can see this when you review the shop -- it will say "skipped question" on those even if you marked them all.
Most companies have smarter systems, and if you answer No, THEN it will bring up the "are you sure" questions. This one presents them to you, then ignores them.
The same is true on the ODP shops, if they went over the entire brochure, they get a Yes. If they didn't go over the whole thing, then you mark No and tell them what they did. If you say Yes, you don't need to do the sub-questions; they will be "skipped" when the report is submitted.
So . . . save yourself those extra clicks, unless you answered No to the primary question.
