More About Five Guys Mystery Shopping

I have reported twice to schedulers that I know that a location is aware I am shopping. The schedulers have both said the same time, "They haven't identified you, which they are required to do."



However.... I am frozen from the big ff for more than two years now... all locations.

There is a rotation on 5 Guys.... they cannot put you back in one in the same cycle, but if someone else shops, they you can go back in the rotations. If they are desperate, then the rotation is ignored, and they will take anyone who can walk and talk at the same time to do the shop. smiling smiley

I was frozen from doing Five Guys for about 8 months! I had done them faithfully for about a year. I just got reinstated! LOL!

I've done a few 5 guys and fries. I Use the <the MSC>. LOL... Never been fired from a site. Usually, the Mystery Shop companies call me up and ask me to do a shop for them.



Mod note: Hey there Grilldog! You really do need to stop giving the MSC for various clients in almost every post. The forum posting guidelines prohibit doing so. Thanks!

grilldog, welcome to the forum. Please edit your post and remove the names of the clients of the company you named. Revealing the names of the clients of mystery shopping companies violates both the independent contractor agreement you signed with that company and the guidelines of our forum.

Disclaimer: I am not involved with Shop-it other than beta testing the Android version.
But for those of you that are looking for an awesome timing/note taking app, you gotta try this one.

here are screenshots. If you panic, hit the "Next" button in the bottom corner it flips to a pretend word game. I've also found turning the screen brightness down helps to make it more stealth.

You can also record audio and take photos from within the app. After you finish and save, everything is laid out with times and you can even email it to yourself if you like. Totally worth the two bucks!

Why are you frozen from the "big FF place? Usually they forbid a certain location but not all of them. I had to do 5 Guys wayyyy out of my area for a solid year because I shopped ALL of them too much! smiling smiley

Last month, I suspected that I had been banned from the two Five Guys in my area, since they didn't show as being available and I had stopped receiving calls from schedulers. I emailed the MSC to confirm, and received a reply from a "shopper advocate" confirming my suspicions. Interestingly, the ban lasted all of three weeks, as the two locations recently started showing up on my board, and then today I got a call asking me to do a bonused shop. Strange.
