Certification code not working

Anyone else have this problem? I am applying with new companies and enter my silver certification code but it keeps showing up as a not a valid code.

Are you signing up for companies with the same email address that you used for your silver certification?

I'm having the same problem only with about 5 sassie companies. I've used the same email with all companies. I've emailed MSPA as instructed and there has been no response.

Yes, and what concerns me is I was thinking of saving up for gold but if they have trouble making it work it wouldn't be worth it.

Personally, I would save your money and not go "gold." Your "Silver or Gold certification" means very little to schedulers.

It's your "Dependability, Timely Reports and Accuracy" that are VERY important to the client, even more-so than a gold certificate.

I have silver and some think it gets you more shops. I saw very little change in that, as I was already well established when I got the silver. I decided not to go for the gold.

Over on the MSPA thread you will find that a rep from the MSPA who seems to be a specialist in contractor relations for them has d. He is a long time forum member. Perhaps if you PM him he may be able to help. Please let us know how it goes, since MSPA is launching a whole new bunch of mini-certifications and it would be nice to know that they have worked out the kinks in the system that seem to have plagued it for a couple of years.

Use all small letters when you enter the code. I had the same problem when I used CAPS. All small letters always worked. Wierd.

I did not have that problem but, I have been talking to MSPA because my silver certificate was not showing up on their site. I was told that they do not issue silver certificates anymore and wanted to know what URL I got it from. They said that once you join MSPA for $20.00 you can then take the gold test. Apparently they took over from another management company and did not get all of the URL's that they had out there. I have been talking to them for several weeks now and was told that they may have a solution. I am waiting to hear from them. I want to take the Gold test but do not want any problems like this one.

Yes, that happened to me, too. It eventually resolved itself.

Well I got a reply from the MSPA and they said take it up with the companies I am signing up with, it is their problem.
