How do I submit receipt from Five Guys online shop?

Doing my first online Five Guys. I have to pay online with credit card. Does Five Guys give me a receipt when I come in to get the order?

Interesting. I'm not at home at the moment to check the last online shop I did for them, but I could've sworn I was given a receipt when I did the online order. You should receive one. If you don't, just ask for it when you arrive to let them know you're there.

Any time you do a transaction over the internet you should get some sort of printable receipt. It might display on the screen or they might email it to you. So when you do the online, be connected to a printer, or figure out in advance how to "print to file" from a web page.

You probably could ask for a reprint at the store but I'm just guessing about that.

Maybe call one that you are not going to shop, ask them how the online thing works, tell them you will be ordering for several people and will need a receipt so everyone can pay you back and ask if you will get one online or if they give it to you in the store when you pick the food up.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
FYI, the ticket they tape to your bag will have the information you need to complete the report as well. Obviously, don't rely on it as I had to get this clarified with the MSC when the staff took my receipt and never gave it back when they made mistakenly put hot dog instead of a burger in my sandwich.

Thanks! I think I'll take a snapshot of the online receipt with my iPhone to err on the side of caution.

I have done the online shop a few times. I print out the email confirmation of my order AND I get a receipt (usually taped to the bag or handed to me).

I scan the receipt.

If they don't give me a receipt, I ask for itsmiling smiley
I have always gotten a receipt given to me when I get to the counter. If necessary, ask for one. It will say WEB ORDER and have your name at the bottom.
When you go in and give your name they print up a receipt so you still have an order number. They make the fries when you get there so you still wait to be called.
Generally I get a receipt at the store. Not a problem.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

When I did the online order, I asked for a receipt at the pickup window and used the line, "I need it for my expense report." I'm glad I was in a location far from home, as the manager either figured me as a shopper or was really, really going over the top to please. She dug in the stack of receipts next to the register and in the trashcan the whole time I was in the dining room.

I get out the door and am about to slam the car door and she comes literally running out of the store and knocks on my window and hands me a freshly printed duplicate receipt that was less than 2 minutes old from the time stamp on it. I put this in the report and have never gone back there again.

It would be better if the MSC would accept the email confirmation instead of wanting the paper receipt that spits out of the register and is tossed in a pile of customer discarded receipts. The kitchen gets a seperate bag printout and the cashier just tosses it, thinking it is not wanted. By the time you get there and ask for it, it is burried or lost.

EDIT: Add MSC suggestion. I wonder if this MSC has anyone who reads here.

That is strange, your 5G must be different there because every one I have done prints up a receipt at the register and double checks the order with you.

You missed the whole reason for this post. You order *AMD* pay for the food with the mobile APP and never visit the register. The register just spits out a receipt with nobody there. Your still a block or more away in your car and just clicked your order submit button. You walk in and go directly to the pickup area.
My web order receipts have been taped to my bag over my ticket order slip.

I have gotten them early and overheard them calling out my order number to the cashier, and the cashier walks over to the middle table, carrying a receipt, and matches it up with a ticket order slip, and tape them both to a bag.

With the aggressive MS this company does, I'd not be surprised if my report was read by corp. and they created a new corporate policy to do the staple receipt to bag for app orders.
I did one of the first APP shops based on the date of the shop instructions.
It makes sense, as most people who'd be placing web orders would be in a rush... think corporate setting, workers, etc... and might need the receipts for tax purposes.

By the time I started with FG web order shops, what, a month and a half ago??... my store was already taping/stapling the receipts to the bags.

I did 2 online shops this weekend. Both times I was handed the receipt along with my cup. Both times there was an order slip (not a receipt) taped on the bag.
